pash Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Another rumor on the Narey # is that he'll be sold for 2.5mm + a resale. I'm sure every "journalist" is going to pull his own random number out of a hat. InPAOK is claiming there has been movement with Lazio on Marcos Antonio. Still three days to go so don't hold your breath on a quick resolution. Reinier still has three years left on his deal with Real Madrid, and they spent 30 million to get him, so don't expect a cheap deal. That same site is saying we might try for a two-year loan.

This honestly sounds like someone journalists made up by looking for mid-priced Turkish league strikers on transfermarkt.
pash Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Two items: This li'l guy will be training with the first team, but I'm sure will be playing only with the B team. Still good to see that he's getting a look from Lucescu. https://inpaok.com/786200/stin-proti-omada-tou-paok-o-smyrlis/ InPAOK now saying the Narey deal (which has closed) is now 2.2mm + a 40% resale. Color me surprised. https://inpaok.com/786186/episimo-telos-o-narei/
Blackhawk Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 I believe we also owe 10% resale to Fortuna for Narey.
pash Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Fortuna's makin' out like a bandit, then. Another fun rumor - might this guy be the Narey replacement? Seems to be linked with some Italian clubs as well, though, which doesn't bode well for our chances. https://www.transfermarkt.com/samu-castillejo/profil/spieler/195171
pash Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 The sites are saying Marcos Antonio will be in Thessaloniki as soon as tomorrow to sign. Apparently our transfer window ends on the 15th? For some reason I thought it was the 31st. Expect whatever other buys we make to come down to the wire either way
PaokCT Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 We are rumored to be in for more players too. This could be a make or break transfer window
Blackhawk Posted August 29, 2023 Author Posted August 29, 2023 Marcos Antonio is apparently coming to Thessaloniki tomorrow. The deal is 1-year loan and we pay his 1 mil Euro salary. The buyout option is set at 6 mil Euro for 85%. 1
pash Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Jorge Carrascal, Samu Castillo, Reinier, Jackson Muleka....lots of names still in the wind. Let's see if we get any of them. It does sound like Antonio is basically a done deal, but take it with a grain of salt until you see him exit that airport...

PAOKSYD Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Transfer window in Greece finishes on the 11th September the last day to register players for European competition is 4th September.....

Hasn't Carrascal already signed with FC Dynamo Moscow?
pash Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Ahh you're right, like two days ago. I just saw the "Moscow" and assumed it was the same one.
Athens4 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I am not convinced with Marcos Antonio. I think he is essentially a Brazilian Dantas. I hope I am wrong.
paokarag4 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I think it's a fair comparison, they have a similar build and play style. Based off the highlights I saw (which never tell the full story) Marcos Antonio seems to be more talented and more technically gifted. We won't know until we see him in action for us, so let's see what he's got. Think we are pretty well loaded up in central midfield now, Schwab, Tsingaras, Marcos Antonio, Ozdoyev, Meite and Felipe Soares who is currently injured.
PAOKSYD Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Your playing hearts and dont have a whingee on the bench! Your name is PAOK not atromitos... WTF
pash Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 What's the sound a whinger makes, I wonder! Whatever it is, it's probably even louder on the bench.
PaokCT Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 (edited) I guess we have agreed to a whinger.... https://www.transfermarkt.us/sead-hak-scaron-abanović/profil/spieler/349300 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWsVcVqEPQo Edited August 31, 2023 by PaokCT
Blackhawk Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 Marcos Antonio 1-year loan from Lazio Roma officially announced by PAOK.
pash Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 So much for that! https://inpaok.com/786918/ekleise-sti-stoouk-o-chaxabanovits/
pash Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) Perhaps we're getting desperate? He's a free agent so would probably be cheap. https://inpaok.com/786991/endiaferetai-gia-sansone-o-paok/ https://www.transfermarkt.us/nicola-sansone/profil/spieler/82048 -edit- lol who does one believe!? This would be a better move anyway, IMO https://inpaok.com/787005/ekleise-ntespontof-o-paok/ https://www.transfermarkt.us/kiril-despodov/profil/spieler/221540 Edited September 2, 2023 by pash
