Tzatziki Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Bravo re boys! Best of luck in the next round!
Ellada2004 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Congrats AEK now finish off Vidi! So happy they are through and eliminating the Scotts men at the same time.

Why didn't Mantalos start? Oikonomou was outstanding, especially in the first leg in Scotland when they played a man down. Great job by all the AEK players.
Alphonse Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Thanks guys, good to see some nice words for AEK on this site for a change
Antaeus7 Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 Let's not take Vidi lightly, I have seen "smaller" European clubs knock off "giant" European clubs right off their feet. AEK must play better, they we're a bit lucky against Celtic.
paokara777 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 AEK should have no trouble today if they play to their potential Good luck AEK and hopefully see you in the CL
Antaeus7 Posted August 22, 2018 Author Posted August 22, 2018 Vidi down to 10 men, straight red on Huszti for a reckless challenge on Mantalos
Tzatziki Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 0-2 Bakasetas!! Looks like CL nights are in store for you AEK boys, bravo!
Ellada2004 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 AEK should have 4 goals. Mantalos with a huge chance in the 2nd half.
Ellada2004 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 AEK almost gave up the equalizer. They have lost there focus.
Alphonse Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 1-2 win at the end. I think the lack or competitive games shows, we went from complete control and touching on 0-3 to 1-2 and somehow Vidi didn’t make it 2-2... Still, a good away win at the end of the day, can’t help but think last years team would have prob won 0-4 We need to invest in a striker and solid wingers
Antaeus7 Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 Starting Lineup for AEK Barkas (GK), Bakakis, Helder Lopes, Oikonomou, Lampropoulos, Andre Simoes, Livaja, Klonaridis, Mantalos (C), Hult, Galanopoulos
Antaeus7 Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 After 24 minutes, finally a shot attempt from either side, Klonaridis hits the shot over the bar.
Antaeus7 Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 (edited) Brilliant save by Barkas from a free-kick by Lazovic! Edited August 28, 2018 by Molon Lave
