pash Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Here's the lineup I think he'll go with. I have my doubts that Lucescu will play Canas, as Canas hasn't been getting any game time. --Rey-- --Matos--Zambrano--Varella--Crespo-- --Cimirot--Shakhov-- --Vieirinha--El Kaddouri--Pelkas-- --Prijovic-- I think Mak would be good for this game as well. I hope I'm wrong about Crespo as fullback.
Blackhawk Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 Except for Crespo as LB I think you're right. Pretty sure he will start Leovac. AEK will play a physical game and will get away with it in front of the home crowd. Maybe put Kace or Canas on Araujo to make life miserable for him. I would still entertain the option of benching Prijovic and play Mak as forward instead. My 3-5-2 lineup would be: ------------------------------ Rey ------------------------------ ------ Zambrano --- Varela ---- Crespo ----------- Vierinha - Cimirot - Kace - Pelkas - Leovac ------------ Campos -------------- Mak ------------------
pash Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I wouldn't mind Mak as the forward, but I've never seen Campos play well centrally. He's completely out of his element... Hopefully Leovac (or literally anyone else) starts over Crespo as fullback.

Bananas Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 If Lucescu plays with two in the middle you'd have to assume Lucescu plays Cimirot and Shakhov. I don't know what is going on with Canas this season. The other thing to consider is that when we played AEK in Athens last season they mauled us in the midfield. This scared Ivic enough that in the Cup Final we went with 3 in the middle (Canas, Cimirot, Shakhov) and played without a number 10. It will be interesting to see how Lucescu lines the team up. As for AEK, Mantalos is a big loss. They will also alter their line up as they've just lost their captain and probably most versatile player for at least 6 months.
paokarag4 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 AEK haven't been great coming off european games this season, but we've been awful away from home. Mantalos out, if we are ever going to beat them in Athens, it's now. I say that with zero confidence given our performances and particularly our performances away from home this season
In between of that, φέτος είμαι πολύ χαρούμενος που δεν βλέπω Κρέσπο και Κάνιας.
Blackhawk Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Aretopoulos, the Gate 7 member, has been picked to officiate this game. We have had some bad games with this ref in the past. Hopefully he will not be a factor in the game. AEK is playing tomorrow in Europa League against AC Milan. They need a result to keep chances of qualifying, so they will spend some energy on Thursday, and they really don't have a bench this season. This could play in our favor. the main thing is for PAOK to show up and play with passion, something we seldom do in Athens.
pash Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Here are the players who will travel: Ρέι ,
PAOKSYD Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 If we win this game i see us winnibg the tittle, if we drae its all on for everyone, if we lose no tittle boys! Big big game
teke817 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Πάμε Παοκαρα! If we want to earn a title these are the games we have to go on the road and win. I want to control the tempo, keep possession and avoid using long balls like Milan tried all game.
pash Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Hopefully we find a non-Aklautoi stream. That guy's gonna be so obnoxious.

teke817 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 (edited) One stream is already up, probably a couple more will get posted closer to kick off: Also a YouTube link from what was formerly Greek Football Live ... these guys are usually very reliable streamers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywmrAOEp6QY Edited November 5, 2017 by teke817

Blackhawk Posted November 5, 2017 Author Posted November 5, 2017 Í disagree too. It's the small games we need to win. Had we beaten Levadeiakos, Apollon and Marisa we would now be 6 points ahead. Game is delayed due to crowd trouble.
Yiankos Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Άντε να δούμε... Μία νίκη στο ΟΑΚΑ ρε γαμώτο...
Blackhawk Posted November 5, 2017 Author Posted November 5, 2017 Araujo punches Zambrano. RED card. Zambrano yellow.
teke817 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 AEK 2-0-0 this year when they go down a man. That’s unusual.
pash Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Very good chance that we'll end up with ten men as well, so maybe the above stat won't matter ;)
