Our defense is extremely thin. Lost papazoglou this past weekend for the season in a friendly against ael, our best defensive player. Our other cb Rodriguez just returned to practice today after being out for a month. Kousas will most likely get the nod in defense where any and every paok player will run laps around.  Our counter attacks have been solid these past few friendlies. If we get a goal against you guys I think it will be on the counter but it will be difficult as everything offensively goes through amr warda. Shut him down and you shut us down. Extremely excited and anxious for this one.

Leovac will not be able to play for the first two Superleague games due to red card punishment from last season. Ivic is thinking of using Matos there. Kind of stupid, when you have Tzavellas and Giannoulis available.

Definitely foolish. If we don't have Leovac, this is what I'd want to see:

The TV coverage for us outside of Greece is still up in the air as of today. Novasport is apparently starting a new streaming service for viewers outside of Greece for Superleague games. reports are that this service will cost around 80 Euro. Unfortunately PAOK is the only team whose home games will not be included in this streaming service, since we did not sign the Superleague deal with Novasport concerning the international TV rights.

Last season PAOK's home games were televised on Laola1.TV, however it appears that this might not be the case this season. Rumors are that PAOK is trying to strike a deal with a different company. Hopefully they come up with something very soon.

Not sure how Matos attacks as a LB as opposed to a RB, but if playing there decreases his attacking game, I'd be inclined to leave him on the right.  His attacks have been very very good so far.  We could even play Korovesis on the left if it comes to it.  Korovesis seems to be a fairly versatile player.

If Kitsiou is injured, I doubt Matos will start on the left side...the above selection pretty much just leaves us with Cimirot there. I think Giannoulis will get the nod at LB.

All paok sites reporting giannoulis to start at left back but we also have tzavegoal who played left back for national team in the two games against holland and gribaltar.
