Ethnikos Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Devastated that Panionios missed the playoff spot. Tbh it's better to the other 3 teams because it's a free 3 points
Original Sydney Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 They haven't missed out they need to be approved a licence to play in playoffs, they will get it though, they've given them licence to compete in the league when they have been in far worse situations cant see them stopping them now
pash Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Panionios finished two points ahead of them and seems to still think they'll get the license on appeal, correct?
Dutch Eagle Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Giannina - Levadiakos was postponed yesterday due to the earthquake in the region: http://www.sdna.gr/news-english/article/254625/pas-giannina-levadiakos-clash-postponed-due-earthquake
Dutch Eagle Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 They perform well, but don't forget this is Greece. Some clubs play only the big clubs in the beginning and get 0 points (like Niki Volou a couple of years ago and than some morron owner sack the coach) and others play the easy ones first and the bigger/better in the end. PAS has still to face Oly, AEK, Panionios en PAOK in round 1. Let's see after MD 15 or - with all those abandoned games - after they faced every team one time. They were smashed by Pana 4-0 and we know how bad Pana this year performs. 1
pash Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 That's acupuncture, bro. Mitso fixed up his horafia using that same technique.
Dutch Eagle Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Reaper, you are the "Gademis" of PAS. They lost today against the Pontioi of Katerini, #16 of the SL.
pash Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I see that it was exciting all around. What caused the pitch invasion?
Original Sydney Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Now all we need is another suspension of the league after these incidents.
Blackhawk Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 1 hour ago, pash said: What caused the pitch invasion? PAS Giannina scoring a goal.
Original Sydney Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 They were expecting violence, some reports say it was Iraklis fans, others say it was Anarchists, the league is only falling lower and lower with this s%$#!..... Panionios and Oly fans had it out also over the weekend. Greece in general for sport is one massive BOURDELLO.
RED SHERIFF Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 its not greek sport.. It's greek society..and the acceptance of violence and not enforcing laws.. here is an idea..put people in jail for 2 years for causing a riot at a football match or if they riot during a 'political demonstration' and cause damage to property.. problem solved overnight... and follow up with zero tolerance for any lefty/anarchists who choose to protest about these 'harsh measures';. Greece's version of democracy and 'right to protest' is a bad joke... hence why a rock thrower activist is the PM.....Enough said.....no need to blame Iraklis football fans..if the PM is an expert in this bullshit..
Dutch Eagle Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 It looks like PAS will sign James Efmorfidis during the transferwindow this winter. Efmorfidis is without contract after he ended his contract with AZ Alkmaar. See also Greek players abroad.
pash Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Careful what you post here, you might get a visit from their prez 1
Soprano76 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Neat little documentary I found on PAS Gianena that was made a few years back:
FrappeFetish Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Hi all, I am a New Yorker (now living in the San Francisco, CA area) of Metsovo descent. I am excited about PAS Giannina's promotion, and look forward to following the the team on SlingTV over here (there is a wonderful package that includes Sport Plus). I look forward to learning Greek while watching these games, and rooting for the team to compete with the big fish this season. I also look forward to learning more about the club from everyone (the extent of my knowledge is the record transfer of Mavropanos to Arsenal). Hey admins, any chance we can get PAG Giannina moved to the League One forum? 1
Soprano76 Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Welcome back Frappe! Excited to see Gianena back in SLGR1. I actually visited the stadium and got a nice zip up from their store when I visited the town a few years back. I think they will finish in the bottom half but won't be relegation players. They were definitely a cut above the rest in SLGR2 this past season.
