Now we need just 6 points to qualify either by earning them ourselves or Pana losing them, it is time to post the calendar for the Conference League 2021/2022 where we start in Q2 if we qualify:

June 16: Second qualifying round draw
July 19: Third qualifying round draw
July 22/29: Second qualifying round

August 2: Play-off round draw
August 5/12: Third qualifying round
August 19/26: Play-offs
August 26: Group stage draw

September 16: Group stage, Matchday 1

We have qualified for Europe already. AEK and Panathinaikos still have to face each other. If both win all the other matches, we lose all games and Pana does not win this tie we are qualified as Pana now can only equal our points (and win hth). If Pana wins AEK would lose the 3 way tiebreaker vs PAOK and Pana (all 61 points but worst head to head to head as they did not win a single match), so PAOK is qualified.

We might have an upgrade. Even to Europa League. A lot of ifs and the odds are slim. But I think you should know it to root for a loss of Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend and a win in EL for United. These are the scenario’s:

from ECL-Q2 to EL-Q3, if both Chelsea win CL and qualify for EL-GS, and either Manchester United win EL, or Villarreal win EL and qualify for EL-GS

from ECL-Q2 to ECL-Q3, if both Chelsea win CL and qualify for EL-GS and Villarreal win EL and qualify for ECL-PO

We lost EL, but we can apparently move up to ECL-QR3 if Villarreal wins Europa League.

Good for tiredness, but perhaps we'd earn a bit more money and a quarter coefficient point by steamrolling some minnow? Would this even effect when the team recalls players for preseason training, though?

How does that move up work? Villarreal won the EL, but there are a number of associations ahead of Greece. Is it related to the second qualifying round having cup winners from associations 18-33 (of which Greece is #18, so any bump up would result in us moving up)?

Wiki, the One Drive file and Kassiesa lists are all compiled by hobbyists and are not official documents. In the end it's up to UEFA to come up with the official ruling. We should know soon as the draws for the first rounds are scheduled for mid-June. It would be nice to skip one round in the process.

No disdain here. I consider myself a hobbyist as well and also consult those hobby site on frequent basis and I am very happy that they exist. Just saying that UEFA will have the final word.

The saga continues:

UEFA takes the priority for cup winners very precisely. They promote only cup winners to re-balance the Europa Conference League for
the empty spot of Villarreal in the play-off round.

The access list will be re-balanced as follows:

The cup winner of Switzerland (FC Luzern) and Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki) move from ECL-Q2 to ECL-Q3,

The cup winners of Slovenia (Olimpija Ljubljana), Hungary (Újpest TE), Luxembourg, and Lithuania (FK Panevezys) move from ECL-Q1 to ECL-Q2.

The decision was taken this morning.

Therefore the new important days for us are now:

July 19: Third qualifying round draw

August 2: Play-off round draw

August 5/12: Third qualifying round

August 19/26: Play-off

August 26: Group stage draw

September 16: Group stage, Matchday 1

And this gives us two more weeks of preparation and possible friendlies against better opponents

I see at least one fan site claiming they will be. You'd think that Razvan would want as much time as possible, though. Wouldn't be surprised if they keep it as-is.

Only one club for Northern Ireland to be confirmed as participant. The coefficient will be low. All the other clubs are known. Therefore the overview is good to pick the clubs to draw and those to avoid.

Q3 good draw: Dudelange, The New Saints, Olimpija Ljubljana, Vaduz, Domzale and Klaksvik.

Q3 to avoid: Hajduk Split, Rubin Kazan, Vitesse, Sochi, Trabzonspor, Sivasspor, Vorskla Poltava, Hibernian, AEL Limassol and Vojvodina.

PO good draw: Maribor, Dundalk, Austria Wien and Suduva.

PO to avoid: all the others.

Monday (14:00 EEST) is the draw for the 3rd Qualifying Round of Europa Conference Leage. PAOK will be seeded in the draw. Aris and AEK will be seeded as well if they manage to qualify from Qualifying Round 2.
