Nikitas
Oh no! Will he get over it before the Romania match? i dont know yet , i read on a roma website that they expect him to return to rome when they find out that he isnt fit enough but its still early. below also info on kyriakos and ninis. sokratis seems fit. http://www.zougla.gr/sports/article/e8niki-amfivolos-o-torosidis https://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=el&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zougla.gr%2Fsports%2Farticle%2Fe8niki-amfivolos-o-torosidis&edit-text=&act=url
georgelaz
What made Torosidis so great was his pace coming up. Almost as fast as Salpingidis in his early Olympiakos days. He still has great tackling, crossing, and aggression though! Edited October 28, 2015 by georgelaz
pash
Do you feel the criticism is harsh as a fan of Roma, or as a fan of Torosidis? He is not aging like fine wine.
georgelaz
yeah before Maicon came into the picture Torosidis I think had a more positive reaction from fans. it's a big contrast bias. toro has a couple more years though, maicon is in the twilight years of his career. Koro
Its no coincidence that Roma's defence stops leaking goals when Toro starts.
Nikitas
again he F***ed it up for roma and cost them points. he came on later in the 2nd half and near the end of the match it was 1-2 for roma , with a couple of minutes to go he made an amature mistake but giving away a penalty wich was scored. he was given alot of chances by garcia but ruined most of them , roma should sell him or this winter or at the end of the season. Nikitas
also rumours about a possible swapdeal between torosidis and perotti(genoa). https://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=it&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.laroma24.it%2Fmercato%2Fmercato-mercato%2F2015%2F12%2Fmercato-roma-torosidis-possibile-pedina-di-scambio-per-perotti&edit-text=&act=url
georgelaz
That would be good for him. A less competitive Serie A team where he would be a key player. He's one of the lowest calibre Roma players now, sadly. But still can scrap starts here and there. Genoa he would be a star, and it's still the same league. Rockafeller Skank
Its the same league agreed , but its also the training that matters. Its a different thing to be marking players like ljalic , gervinho , dzeko during training , and another thing to be marking the players of Genoa. it matters a lot in the form of a player. This is probably why Vellios , instead of being a total trash with no form , it only took him a couple of weeks to
Greekaroos
I would love to see Torosidis playing in the EPL at a team like Liverpool FC. He would be suited as a hardworking right back whom loves to attack.
Rockafeller Skank
Too damn slow for EPL imo. Wingers there would make him look terrible.

Tzatziki
Too damn slow for EPL imo. Wingers there would make him look terrible. Rockafeller Skank
2008 he must have been like 26 ? Now he is at his finishing years. Hope we can find replacement juast as good as him. Its already ahrd with Holebas being our weak spot in defence, now imagine having 2 weak spots...

georgelaz
yeah, Torosidis is up there for top RB's, but Fullbacks aren't as strong as they used to be 5 years ago IMO. it's just that Roma has abundance in high quality for that position. Maicon is top 10 in the world for RB. Before he came into the picture Torosidis played a big role. Maicon, and his depreciation because of age created a bit of a downward spiral of him. Torosidis is very high quality player though, so he's fighting through it. Heart of gold, fighting spirit.

Nikitas
^maicon wasnt in roma's squad that match. falque replaced toro and florenzi moved to rb. same old move that garcia also used. torosidis is back training with the group , this weekend he will most likely start again since maicon isnt fit yet. https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.laroma24.it%2Ftrigoria%2Ftrigoria-e-dintorni%2F2016%2F01%2Ftrigoria-in-gruppo-torosidis
