  1. I pray Limnios is ok. He had been huge for us. Maybe Tziolis gets some play time at least. Alexandropoulos looked decent (not much going on at that point in the game but still). 2 wonder goals and a great poachers goal for Pav. I hope Giakoumakis doesn’t lose confidence from this tho. I still would be interested in a two man front line with Pav and Giakoumakis now that Limnios may be out and Douvikas didn’t really do much on the other side. Pretty much all the olympiakos Greek players are horrid. Masouras isn’t that good I’m afraid. Bouchalakis is garbage. That being said, it feels amazing to have Tsimikas on one side and Baldock on the other. We are constantly attacking on both sides it is a breath of fresh air. All in all, exciting stuff But I hope Chatzidiakos is ok, worse case scenario Tzavellas alongside these other 3 should hopefully be enough to keep Kosovo from scoring (Ik he is old and washed but he did have some decent showings against Spain and Sweden not saying he should be considered a starter by any stretch but as far as back ups go we’ll take it). I’m hyped

  3. Good points. Greece are beating the country’s we should be beating that’s been biting us in the arse for years.l and costed us a chance at qualification for the last wcup. We know when we play the bigger football nations like Belgium, Spain etc we rise up and can get results. Let’s hope Limnios is ok. He and Bakasetas have been to of our best players this NL campaign. So far Poyet has done a great job and he seems confident when he speaks at his news conferences about how he wants to build the team.

  4. 9 Points after 3 games. I cant remember the last time that has happened for us. The finals comes down to Sunday a win and we dominate this group. It may be way too early to say this but this team has a different feel under Poyet, they look more confident, they are better defensively and as we can see they are still creating chances. This is the most optimistic i have been about this team in a long time. I fully understand the quality of teams we are playing but for the last 5 years we haven't been able to walk away with wins and look good doing it. I really hope this is the turning point for the Ethniki and we continue to improve while getting results. for the amount of times i have spoken bad about Bakasetas i have to now give him credit for his play at late and he's acting like a leader out there and is on fire for the NT right now. Lets keep it going and end this on Sunday with a win at home against Kosovo

  6. Commentator talking about how we dropped points at home in wcup qualifying to Georgia & Kosovo which cost us a playoff spot. He didn’t mention the last coach who was mainly to blame for those results.

  8. I Just saw that… Looks like it’s a two team race so that win was huge against them.

  10. AHAHAHHAHA the irony of us all. We did the same thing with Santos wanting him out, only for him to win a euro with Portugal playing our brand of football. We are a people of highs and lows lol

  11. I wonder if the reason that Bakasetas was playing well was the system he was playing under? In Turkey, he was rated pretty high...

  13. The only criticism if any i have with Poyet was maybe after it was 3-0 he should have given liminos and few others guys that he plans to play on Sunday a little rest and pull them off.

  14. This is the game boys. We haven’t been in the driver seat in a group like this in so long. Hopefully Limnios is ok but regardless we have shown we can comfortably take care of them. Greece 9 points +5 goal differential Kosovo 6 points +2 goal differential the goal differential is huge meaning worse case scenario and I mean worse case we lose by a goal, we’ll still be first in the group. If we win this game by just a goal, we will be up 6 points with 2 games to go and a +6 goal differential to their +1. Basically meaning we’d have to lose our last two games badly and they’d have to win both games by a lot… doubt that is happening. LETS GET OUT THEIR AND DOMINATE AND SHOW WE DO NOT BELONG IN LEAGUE C PAME HELLAS

  16. We need to keep scoring because if we have a hard time against Kosovo it’ll come down to differential. That being said, we keep playing like this and we’ll beat Kosovo again

  19. Now let’s see if Poyet can get these guys not to be complacent and push to get more goals..

  20. Okay I’m done Criticizing this guy.. I still think he makes mistakes but wow he’s on fire and with the right mix of players he seems very useful.. Bravo Bakasetas

  21. If you have a VPN you can watch it on Alpha TV. As noted ViX has the game as well in the US. Fairly decent attendance in Volos. 1:0 Bakasetas

  22. Surprised Mantalos is getting a third consecutive start. Not sure he has the fitness to play major minutes, today. Bakasetas has always been a good finisher, but his style of holding up the ball and lack of footspeed can be frustrating.

  23. If only we can get our strikers scoring goals on a regular basis we would be very tough to beat. It is early but under Poyet our defence looks better & we are keeping clean sheets.

  24. Relying on Bakasetas, with class goals. No one would of said that a week ago..we are a fickle bunch.

  25. Poyets philosophy of snatching the goals needs to come to play here against our brothers. I think Northern Ireland may be able to hold Kosovo to a draw depending on how they show up. Regardless, let’s run away with this group and leave nothing up to anyone but ourselves! I really hope our strikers get a goal or two. Bakasetas goals have been class but we can’t keep relying on him as our literal only goal source the last few years. PAME HELLAS

  26. I completely agree and its kind of refreshing to hear.. Its more of a style the NT has always been accustomed to playing. There's no point to just keep possession if all the team is doing is back passing majority of the game which we seen a lot in the later days of JVS and lots of times the team just looked uncomfortable and confused at times. I don't wont to get my hopes up as we've seen what's happened in the past but I'm feeling optimistic so far..
