Dutch Eagle Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Rijeka lost today 0-2 at home against Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian league. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted August 19 Posted August 19 No PAOK-fans welcome in Croatia. One could understand why. For the return the same I assume. So no gate 8 for only 40 fans to the drain like the Wolfsberger match. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Pelkas and Shoretire are injured and won't travel to Rijeka. Taison was out already. Giakoumakis for the first time included. Blackhawk Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 The left side with Baba is a constant danger for PAOK.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 21 Posted August 21 First subs: Camara, Sastre and Chatsidis in. Ozdoyev, Kenny and Ivanusec out.
Blackhawk Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 1:0 final. What a pathetic performance by PAOK. Don't see how we can advance without crating any chances for goal. We have no clue on what to do with the ball when we reach the offensive zone. And we are not playing any good teams either. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Very poor and pathetic today. Still no KO for us so next week the opportunity to make it up.
PAOKSYD Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Is lucescou the problem or the squad we have? Chalov is so so bad
Blackhawk Posted August 22 Author Posted August 22 Yes Chalov is bad right now, but so will be every forward we will use if the team plays like we did the last 3 European games. Add the fact that Zivkovic and Konstantelias are playing very poorly does not help the situation.
PAOKSYD Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Apart from pavlenka & michailidis - i did not like anyone else today
paokarag4 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I didn't catch the game but seems like another flat and awful performance. We are crying out for something different in our midfield, Meite and Ozdoev can't create/give you enough drive to threaten opposition teams. Zafeiris needs to happen this transfer window. Hard to judge without watching the game, but if what is being said regarding Baba and his poor form continuing into the early part of this season is true, then I have no idea why Taylor isn't getting a run at it. He came from a big club and played Champions League football last season, surely he can't be stinking up training that much that he isn't worth a run off the bench? Ultimately if we manage to overturn the deficit next week, people will forget this performance much like the Wolfsberger one. There are some red flag for sure, I'll wait until the international break in a couple of weeks before panicking. We must win our first 2 league games, and AEL with no fans won't be easy.
PaokCT Posted August 22 Posted August 22 It is 100% Lucescu’s fault. His style of play, the one he likes to run does not suit our players. I’m sure it’ll work for other teams but we have too many quality players to have only scored one goal in 300 minutes.
