Blackhawk
After today's Panathinaikos loss to Tripoli this game becomes very important for PAOK. With a win we move 3 points ahead of Olympiakos and keep close distance to the top two spots. Current standings: 1. AEX 47 2. PAO 45 3. PAOK 42 4. OSFP 42 5. O Aris 31 6. paokarag4
Blackhawk, will this game be televised on sportplus like the last few months worth of PAOK home games? You have only listed PAOKTV which no longer televises games and Net Tv Plus, has Net TV decided that they won't allow this game to be shown on sportsplus? Blackhawk
It will be on Sport Plus. I just forgot to edit that out.
pash
Sounds like Brandon Thomas will be available for the derby. His punishment was reduced to one game, which was already served on Monday. Good news

pash
It wouldn't be a bad move. He's been doing well and Oliveira is clearly exhausted!
Blackhawk
EPO has assigned Ivan Kruzliak from Slovakia as the ref of the game. Immediately Olympiakos objected and asked that EPO change the ref because he comes from the same country as Lubos Michel (ex- PAOK technical director). I am surprised that they did not complain about the ref's first name since it is same as the PAOK's owner.
pash
Need to make sure the refs are not Slovak, Romanian, Italian, Greek, Uruguayan, Polish, or Russian. That covers most of the administration and coaches (senior and B team). Probably should play it safe and not let any refs come from countries where we have players. No Serbs, Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilians, Belgians, Germans, Georgians, Norwegians. Also shouldn't hire a Croat (Tudor might influence them), or Dane (Arnesen seems tricky). Amazing how much power Michel has, like, four years later.
Blackhawk
I would suggest a ref from Australia, but we all know that country does not exist.

Dutch Eagle
Taison asked to be excluded from the squad as he did not feel 100% fit. With the known injured players these men must beat the gayroi:
Most of the lineup selects itself. My only question would be who starts in the middle - Douglas and Schwab? Or Douglas and Dantas? My guess it'll be Douglas and Schwab, knowing Lucescu's preference for experience.
Blackhawk
Douglas is certainly a must starter. I would also lean towards Schwab. Too bad Taison can't make it. He would be a real help even if came in as a sub in 2nd half. I would start Thomas instead of Olivera whom I would save for 2nd half to produce the game winner. I expect a good game by the team tomorrow.
paokarag4
The only was Olivera doesn't start IMO, is if he is absolutely exhausted and puts his hand up and says I can't play more than 30 minutes. Otherwise I'd say it's close to impossible that against Olympiakos, Lucescu starts Thomas over him. Agree that Taison being out is a blow, it means if the game isn't going our way there isn't much on the bench that can change the game. Only a change in midfield, ie Dants or F.Soares and maybe throwing on Thomas as a 2nd striker. Let's hope we don't need a plan B and are in control of the game.
