pash Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Looks like we'll start our season at home vs Panaitolikos. I believe the draw is going on right this moment but I'd rather gouge my own eyes out than watch it.

Nilaul Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 On 6/4/2019 at 2:41 PM, Dutch Eagle said: Savvidis invested another 15,2 mill euro’s in our club. According to reports we will not get in difficulties concerning Financial Fair Play. A team owner can only invest 30 million per year out of his own pocket. Not sure if he invested anything during winter or not.
pash Posted July 18, 2019 Author Posted July 18, 2019 Should I be worried?? https://inpaok.com/580166/i-alithia-gia-branko/
Dutch Eagle Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Cosmote TV will broadcast the away game in Q3 CL. Don't know what this means for you guys. Good or bad? I most probably will see both games via Ziggo, unfortunatelly the shirtsponsor of our opponent.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 That's why we did not succeed against the 020: papapaok did his thing too late: https://inpaok.com/587709/agiasmos-ston-paok-pics/
pash Posted September 2, 2019 Author Posted September 2, 2019 No news on return date yet. The guess I heard from one of the commentators seems to be spot on though: https://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20190902-iatriko-deltio-gia-ton-fernando-varela/
pash Posted September 3, 2019 Author Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) Now reading that Meliopoulos wants out. Guy seems to be taking getting cut hard. -edit- to clarify, I mean out of the game, full stop Edited September 3, 2019 by pash
Blackhawk Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 PAOK should demand that he repay the 800K that we paid Xanthi for his rights.
pash Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 The team posted a vid showing Mauricio apparently training with the team. I can't believe it. Feels so soon...though I guess he was expected back in October after all.
Bananas Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Does this Meliopoulos kid have a mental issue ? He's contracted to make ~700K over the next 4 years (150K +15% increase per year) and I don't know what his backup plan was if football didn't work out, but I'm quite sure it won't be paying that much.
Bananas Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Missing Mauricio and dare I say it Canas and Shakhov in the midfield. Sure I know they had their deficiencies but at least Canas covered ground and Shakhov added some height and could (and did) win headers at set-pieces. Shakhov also had that great knack of timing his runs into the box. For the money we've paid for Esiti and what's his name they haven't exactly set the world on fire. The only thing we seem to have got for the money paid, which is a positive, is decent ages. Normally we sign "old" players whereas they haven't peaked yet. Anyway, let's see what happens. Lots of players in recent seasons started off slow. As for Wernbloom, the only positive thing I can say about him is his transfer hasn't been as bad as Khacheridi.
pash Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 Remember: this is what's not even making the bench for us: 1
BostonThanatos Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I have a feeling he'll see some time this week. Jaba has been awful...there's really no excuse at this point.
pash Posted September 27, 2019 Author Posted September 27, 2019 I hope so! In even better news, Mauricio is now officially training with the team - his return will give us an instant improvement in the midfield. He is sorely missed.
pash Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 Mandatory weekly Lamprou highlight: https://www.instagram.com/p/B3H2djVoXhm/?igshid=11yq7ufiw0dq9
Blackhawk Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 These training highlights don't tell me anything. I want to see that in game situation. Having said that though, Lambrou and Stoch should starting instead of Biseswar or Jaba in that position.
Blackhawk Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 In other news Vierinha today took part in game scrimmage at practice. Should be coming back sooner then expected.
pash Posted October 25, 2019 Author Posted October 25, 2019 Terrible. Poor Gaitanidis: https://inpaok.com/604857/chirourgio-gia-gaitanidi/
pash Posted October 27, 2019 Author Posted October 27, 2019 Gaitanidis out for three months, surgery scheduled for Tuesday
Blackhawk Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 PAE PAOK share holders general meeting took place today. It was decided that capital share will be increased by 28,000,000 Euro. Obviously the money will come from Ivan Savvidis. The new share capital of PAE PAOK (Black and White PAE) will amount to 116.140.631, 40 Euro, while the total amount that Savvidis has invested so far is 145.229.878 Euro. During the meeting questions were answered by PAE PAOK the General Manager Chrysostomos Gagatsis, including a question about the new Toumba Stadium. It will be a private stadium that will be owned by Ivan Savvidis since he will pay for building the stadium. It will be build on land that is owned by the Amateur PAOK. It is always possible Savvidis might donate the stadium to the team down the road.
