Argy Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 On 14 June 2019, the AEK reached an agreement with Alanyaspor for the transfer of Bakasetas for an estimated transfer sum of €1,000,000.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 First goal for Bakasetas in the league. He scored the opener in their 4-1 victory over Kasimpasa. Alanyaspor started well with two wins in the league.

He seems to be continuing his run of good form. First name on the team sheet for the NT no matter how good or bad he plays for his club.
Alphonse Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Scored a screamer today for Alanyaspor against Yeni Malatyasor - if you get a chance check out the goal. Siopis also played 90 mins and Tzavellas was subbed on in the 57th minute, the won 2-1
paokarag4 Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I think you've mixed up the games Alphonse, they played Yeni on the weekend. Today they beat Galatasaray 2-0 in the first leg of the Cup quarter final today. Bakasetas scored a very nice goal on his right boot. Not sure what his goal on the weekend is like, he scored in both games. He's been in very good form.
Alphonse Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 (edited) Ohh indeed you are correct! This was today vs Galatasaray Edited February 6, 2020 by Alphonse
paokarag4 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Bit of analysis on his year so far, with input from his manager. https://www.sport24.gr/Files/tasos-mpakasetas-etoimos-gia-ektokseysh-kai-pio-plhrhs-apo-pote.5679481.html
Alphonse Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Beskitas after Baka and looking at 5 million euro's - great work Lymbe ?♂️
Brklyngrk Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I think Lymbe was the technical director at AEK when he left...
Tzatziki Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I think he was, but I don't get what he is to be blamed for exactly, Bakasetas was not playing like he is now at AEK.....
Alphonse Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Lymbe and Cardoso made many big mistakes at AEK, Baka is more so on the coaches but as a club we didnt go well given we played him on the wing and never where he was best at. Then we sell him for peanuts and look at him now
paokarag4 Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 (edited) 2 assists for him in the Cup Semi-final 2nd leg where Alanyaspor beat Antalyaspor 4-0 (5-0 aggregate) and are through to the Turkish Cup final. Tzavellas played the whole game, Siopis not in the squad at all. Hopefully they can win the cup and get some silver ware. Highlights here, Bakasetas assists are at 1.30 (a corner) and 2.45, a nice dinked ball for Pappis Cisse to complete his hat-trick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAQJaMUQLrU Edited June 19, 2020 by paokarag4
Dean97 Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 He’s the only Greek CAM in form. Fortounis is finding his feet again, while Pelkas hasn’t featured for PAOK for the last 3 weeks. Mantalos needs to play central if you want to get the most out of him. 1
paokarag4 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Put Alanyaspor 1-0 up today, as they ran out 6-0 winners. Tzavellas and Siopis also started alongside him. It's been reported Fenerbache are going to make another offer to try sign him. We'll see what happens.
paokarag4 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Scored both goals for Alanyaspor in their 2-1 victory over Besiktas, the win keeps them top of the table. Tzavellas and Siopis also starting and playing the whole game (Siopis was subbed out in the 98th min)
Dutch Eagle Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Alanyaspor has thanked Baka for his services and wishes him the best for the future. That future is Trabzonspor. The fee is 3 mil and 0,5 in additional bonusses. No confirmation of his new club yet.
Dutch Eagle Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 And now he has been officially welcomed by Trabzon. He signed till the summer of 2024 and will earn a lousy € 1.25 mil a year.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Scored his first goal for Trabzonspor today in their 1-0 win over Denizlispor.
paokarag4 Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Another goal for him overnight, scoring the first in Trabzonspor's 0-2 win. 2 goals in 2 starts for his new club, both goals interestingly have been with his right foot.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 And another goal today. Scored the only goal of the day against Gaziantepspor. What a way to start a new episode in his career.
Dutch Eagle Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Scored the winner today in the 2-1 over Kasimpasa.
paokarag4 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 (edited) The much maligned in these parts, Bakasetas has started this season in brilliant form. 3 goals and 2 assists in 5 games as Trabzonspor sit equal top in Turkey. He scored the winner over the weekend with a lovely strike just outside the box. Add his goal and assist for the Ethniki a few weeks ago and his numbers are very good, it's not hard to understand why he plays at a top 4 team in Turkey and is a starter for the NT. People will always find reasons to criticise him, but that shouldn't take away from the fact that he is valuable and his stats back it up. Here's his goal over the weekend Edited September 20, 2021 by paokarag4 2
Brklyngrk Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 His stats have been good. The way he is used in the ethniki may not suit him. Every time we play, he seems to hold up play and slow down our attack. That is the reason he gets criticized as much as he does. 1
