Akritis_1944 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Good to know that the few Austrian dudes can be seen on television. Well done Pash. 1
pash Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 For this one, I think we can take advantage of our lead and get a few different faces in earlier... --Glykos-- --Matos--Crespo--Tzavellas--Leovac-- --Canas--Biseswar--Shakhov-- --Campos--Pereyra--Rodrigues-- If Campos and Rodrigues play poorly, slip in Mistakidis and one of either Jairo or Pelkas. Canas, Biseswar, and Pereyra all look like they deserve a start to me.
Bananas Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I'd actually throw in Jairo instead of Campos. Jairo is not one for consistency, but he can have games where he just absolutely tears up the flank. I could see him destroying Tbilisi, and it'll let Campos have a rest. Campos looked very flat last match. 1

PAOKSYD Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I would like to see the following entries Giannoulis > Leovac Biseswar > Cimirock Mystakidis > Rodrigues Canas > Shakov lets see what ivic throughs out
pash Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 Here's the press conference (for some reason I can't find it on youtube yet):
pash Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 Very first question asks him what we're all thinking, in terms of trying new things/a rotation. Not much of an answer. Talks a about Kace/Tziolis + new transfers (CF) as well. It seems the decision on Tziolis was made a while ago, so the timing isn't as mean as people seem to think. He actually went pretty in depth on Tziolis - he notes they brought in multiple players who play that position (and later says there are 8 dudes who can take his slot already on the team), who play with more speed and quality, and it's clear that they wanted to play in a different way. He's almost as forthcoming as Tudor, it seems ;)

Unless you mean this is a lower-pressure opportunity to try him in a less-competitive match?
Blackhawk Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Squad for the game announced by Ivic: Γλύκος, Μπρκιτς, Λέοβατς, Κίτσιου, Μάτος, Τζαβέλλας, Βαρέλα, Κρέσπο, Κάνιας, Σάκχοφ, Χαρίσης, Τσίμιροτ, Μπίσεσβαρ , Μυστακίδης, Κάμπος, Ροντρίγκες, Περέιρα, Κουλούρης Klaus will sit this one out. 1
BostonThanatos Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I'm thinking about putting another $150 on this match...but it only pays out $66
pash Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 For just a straight win? I'm predicting a 5-1 victory, espcially since Pereyra looks like he's starting. Make it interesting!
BostonThanatos Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Yeah, I'm not secure in putting $150 on the Over (2.5).... But with Pereyra, maybe he feels like he's got something to plrove? It'll be a gametime decision
pash Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 You're right guys, 8-1 victory coming our way!
PAOKSYD Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Ok so klaus dropped. Rostov destorys ajax Ah re paokara we had ajax gamoto!! Come on ivic destory dinamo again, ill leave the line up to you lol
pash Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Seems Koulouris is going to get the start over Pereyra today. Canas looks like he'll play as well, and it's a coinflip between Shakhov/Cimirot or Charisis/Cimirot in midfield. No other changes from what I'm reading.
teke817 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 so it's Facundo over Koulouris after all ... I'm curious to see how Shakov plays as a 10 with no real pressure. I'm fairly certain he was one of the players Ivic called out after the first leg for "hiding on the pitch" ... Otherwise, nothing new except for Canias.
Blackhawk Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Here is a shitty one that freezes every 5 seconds: http://aklautoi.blogspot.gr/p/live-2.html
