Dutch Eagle
Looked it up. Was the '99-'00 season. What I do know by heart is that Salpi scored his first ever European goal against them.

Do we have the first game in Toumba? I predict the same result as last year against Brondy.
Klaous
@Klaous...we need to do both... We need the EL to keep building our points each year... AND win the bloody league after all these years We can't do both. We already tried that last year and look how many injuries we got.
Bananas
Dinamo Tiflis - PAOK !! Are we playing a blind team ?!
pash
We can't do both. We already tried that last year and look how many injuries we got. Perhaps so, but this year we have more depth than last year. I, personally, love our nights in European matches more than pretty much anything we do.
Akritis_1944
Blind drunk. Tifla. Actually it's a good tie for PAOK. Good luck.
kozi
We can't do both. We already tried that last year and look how many injuries we got. Last year injuries had everything to do with tudor and his fitness guy. This year we have it sorted. Playing midweek should be bread and butter for a club like paok Edited August 5, 2016 by kozi

Blackhawk
Have we played them before ? Sound familiar. We did NOT play Dinamo Tbilisi. We played Lokomotiva Tbilisi in 1999-2000 7:0 win in Tbilisi (Georgiadis 2, Frouso 2, Sabry, Maragos, Frantzeskos - our biggest European win ever score wise. 2:0 in Toumba (Valencia, Salpiggidis) In late 1970's, early 1980's Dinamo Tbilisi had one of the better European sides, even wining the Cup Winners Cup in 1980-81. They were part of USSR them. Thats the season that Kastoria played them. 0:0 at Kaftanzoglio, 0:2 in Tbilisi.
Klaous
Perhaps so, but this year we have more depth than last year. I, personally, love our nights in European matches more than pretty much anything we do. I love them too. However, gavros is hitting rock bottom right now and will probably lose its dominance over Greek football. Could be our chance to take over. Could be our chance to take over. Let's not be premature on predicting the demise of Olympiakos. They've played 2 average games, yeah, but there is still time for them to make some serious transfers, and they have the money should Marinakis choose to spend it. The big question on everyone's mind now is, is he losing focus now that he has Nottingham Forest as his new toy ?
