Akritis_1944 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Oh. We will never hear from him again then

paokarag4 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 linked with Dortmund. I'll go out on a limb here and say it won't happen, but hey its what the transfer season is all about! http://www.contra.gr/Columns/contra-epithesi/dortmund/sto-stoxastro-ths-ntortmoynt-o-stafylidhs.4480319.html
Nikitas Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 dortmund has alot of injuries and he will be 2nd choice for sure behind schmelzer. it would be a great transfer for him but for him its better to stay with augsburg where he is a starter.
Nikitas Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 sits out a one match ban this weekend. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?act=url&depth=1&hl=nl&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=de&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://www.thueringer-allgemeine.de/web/zgt/sport/detail/-/specific/Augsburg-bangt-um-Trio-Max-ersetzt-gesperrten-Stafylidis-1223668634&usg=ALkJrhh8wSGm4mjL15t1kDd31HAQ4cvTAg
Nikitas Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 yesterday he was being used as left winger and he did a good job although his team lost 2-0. later on in the match he was switched back to left back. for the people who dont know german ratings , Note 1 is best and Note 6 is the worst. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=de&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.augsburger-allgemeine.de%2Fsport%2Ffc-augsburg%2FWieder-keine-Punkte-in-Mainz-Die-Spieler-in-der-Einzelkritik-id40498536.html&edit-text=&act=url 1
Dutch Eagle Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Kostas Stafilidis extended his contract at Augsburg till the summer of 2019. 2
pash Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Just scored an unreal goal from practically the halfway mark vs Leipzig. Hooooly s%$#! that was a beauty
Dutch Eagle Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Here you can see his goal: http://inpaok.com/340821/νέα-γκολάρα-ο-σταφυλίδης-video/ Edited March 3, 2017 by Dutch Eagle
pash Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Manages a series of near-screw ups followed by a pair of good blocks in the box, the (very lucky) deflection of which started the sequence that led to Augsburg's second (tying) goal. Interesting game.
Dutch Eagle Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Once again Staf scored a goal (nice header) for Augsburg to earn them a point against Freiburg.
pash Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Here's a vid: He has scored four goals this year, which is more than the squad's other defenders combined. In fact, I believe he's tied for third place on that team for goals scored. Holebas who?
Rockafeller Skank Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 (edited) This video is a fake one. It's an older video of his. Also livescore.com lists him at the lineups as a left midfielder, not a left back. Edited March 18, 2017 by Rockafeller Skank
Nikitas Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 ^yeah sometimes he is being used as left midfielder or winger. the goal is in this video. http://ourmatch.net/videos/18-03-2017-augsburg-vs-freiburg/
pash Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Augsburg was playing a 3-5-2 in that game, so take your pick of what to call his position. Wingback, LB, LW, same deal in this case. Correct on the video. Twitter lied to me. Seeing the still shot in my post, that's clearly his goal vs Ingolstadt

pash Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Played in his team's 2-3 loss vs similarly relegation-threatened Ingolstadt. Augsburg really is a poor team, though Stafylidis didn't do much to help while I watched (which was up until around 70'). Interesting that they nearly managed a draw at the end, though.
Rockafeller Skank Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Augsburg actually lost many players in the past 2 years. 2 years ago they finished fourth and got a spot in Europa League, managing to reach the R16 if im not wrong, only to lsoe to finalists Liverpool 1-0 aggregate. Their whole midfield is completely different from 2 years ago and a big loss was the one of Ragnar Klavan, going to liverpool.
