DUDE
It's the BIG one coming up... and some great news for Aris from UEFA.com: FC Bayern München have suspended veteran goalkeeper Oliver Kahn for disciplinary reasons, as they prepare for a decisive UEFA Cup tie against FC Aris Thessaloniki. The 38-year-old, who has played in 12 of Bayern's 16 Bundesliga games this season, will miss the club's league game at Hertha BSC Berlin and has been fined €25,000 for an unspecified breach of club discipline. Irlandos
I am much more optimistic about Panionios' chances than Aris. I think we are looking at a 2-0 or 3-1 loss :( Not too sure if the ball will be travelling too much in the direction of the German substitute keeper... dark_horse
This will be a tough match for Aris. If only they didn't lose points to Bolton or Braga, they would not have put themselves in this mess. With Braga playing at home to the Red Stars and a possible win for Braga, chances are I see Aris out of Europe. Predication : Bayern Munich 2-0 Aris God, I hope I'm wrong! Olympiakosthyra7
Aris will get a draw i think if braga win and aris and bayern tie isnt bolton out?????/
Irlandos
I asked the same question in the Aris - Braga thread and got the following answer form Nikosvazelas: goal differential is first so it'll be aris first and if braga win by more than 1 goal then they'll go through. if not, aris will be first and, with braga winning by only 1 goal, then it'll be bolton bayern and braga in the second tie breaker which is away goals... bolton has 2 braga has 2 and bayern have 3 so it'll be aris and bayern. Irlandos
We need to be realistic here: a draw may not be enough for Bayern, they need to win. I think Red Star have a better chance of sending Aris through, than Aris have of sending themselves through!
