  1. beautifully worked free kick, straight off the training ground
  2. Starting XI ------Paschalakis----- Matos----Maleza----Crespo----Vieriniha --------------Maurcio-----Canas------- Limnios-----Pelkas--------Djalma --------------------Prijo No Warda, Giannoulis or Xatziisais for them as per every other time we've played them this season
  3. He does hold his spot in the starting XI, Watford v Bournemouth kicking off in just under 10 minutes
  4. Good to see some football again, the last 3 weeks has really tested eveyones resolve and patience with Greek football. Hard to care about the result though, but hopefully we win our last 5 and end this shambles on a high note. Starting with a tricky test tonight.
  5. Bad couple of weeks for Watford and himself against some of the bigger sides. 3-0 loss to Arsenal last week, 5-0 loss over night at Liverpool. Was at fault for Arsenal's 3rd last week, was a bit of a howler. Not hugely at fault for any of the 5 today, but there's one or 2 where you think a really really good keeper might make a save or do better. In saying that, he made 2-3 pretty solid stops as well. Interesting to see if he retains his spot after the international break.
  6. Kolouris I doubt will ever be NT material Limnios has some talent and is young enough to improve his game, but as of right now shouldn't be getting a call up. Still has a long way to go
  7. it's not about scoring or assisting for a player like Tziolis. His job is to break up play (something he's not great at) and when we win back possession, maintain the ball so our team can get up the pitch and we can build an attack. The last part is something he does because he takes minimal risks with the ball. Sideways, backwards he plays it safe. That's why coaches (not only skibbe) have favoured him to be a part of the ethniki for so many years. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he should be in the starting line up. In the squad? maybe for some depth. Again he's not awful but he's no world beater. He is what he is, does what is asked of him and keeps it moving.
  8. Nice logical post Soprano, also love the sopranos what a show!! Now just to fire everyone up again, let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we? Όπλα, ντου και ξύλο
  9. Well said @SydneyPAOK Greek football has been a mess for years, longer than I've been following it. You can go through every season and pinpoint clubs/individuals who have harmed Greek football. Unfortunately for us Savvidis adopted the motto if you can't beat them join them. And many people in Greece say, you can't win the league if you don't have the refs/EPO in your pocket. It's a sad reality of football in our country. What Savvidis did was immature and crossed the line, but it's stuff that's happened before. And will continue to happen. Nothing will change, not in our lifetimes anyway. Greece as a country needs to be knocked down and built again. I guess a few weeks ago Warda threatened himself with a gun?
  10. Now? It wasn't exactly a destination league before the last few weeks. Current foreign players may consider leaving.
  11. no way known England will boycott the World cup Or any of the other nations mentioned
  12. http://www.novasports.gr/podosfairo/ellada/super-league/article/373752/apokalupsi-auta-egrapse-o-kominis-sto-fullo-agona/ What was written in the match report, apparently. Doesn't look good for us. The goal was about to be awarded by the ref on the pitch, which is when Savvidis entered. It's gonna hurt us badly. It was all for nothing in the end because (at least according to the article) the ref had decided while still on the pitch to give the goal.
  13. In his return from injury, he came off the bench in the 78th min and after just 35 seconds he scored what ended up being the winner away at toulouse! 1-2 full time score
  14. it all starts from there. There is no respect/fear of consequence. Any foul the benches jump on screaming and jumping around. It took the ref 5 mins to speak to linesman, he needed to start dishing out yellows to the players who wouldn't F*** off and let them communicate. A few would have been 2nd yellows for both sides then watch how the rest of them would have cleared off. But no instead he lets them keep approaching and it opens the door for this sort of chaos. Not all his fault but he needs to take control initially. What happened after is out of his hands, but while it's only the players causing you grief, use your bloody cards!!!! He wasn't shy to dish them out during the game
  15. Reading that the league has been postponed for 2 weeks at least while this mess gets sorted.
  16. it's a tight call either way, the ball is past aek's keeper when Maurico jumps over it. But him being there and that close to the keeper gives enough for them to rule it out. Tight either way What happened after is a joke. As soon as they decided it was offside the ref should have dropped the ball and started the game. Instead we have 4 million people on the pitch and Savvidis coming down and telling them to walk off the pitch. Imagine the fallout if the game gets restarted and we win, we'll be in the courts for years.
  17. agree with the changes, boston. Liminos has gotten himself into some good positions but has lacked the final product, his crossing has been poor. Biseswar to add some polish.
  18. I can see the courts decision to give us back the 3 points having a huge positive impact on the team. The ball is back in our court. It'll be a tough game, AEK is a good team. Plus they are happy with a draw so they'll sit back and try hit us on the break. Hoping for a much improved performance compared to last week and my money is on us playing much much better
  19. No doubt Blackhawk they'll get their points back but so what? The title is back in our hands. We win our last 6 games and we are champions. It's not gonna be easy but at least we control our destiny. Don't know maybe I've just become accustomed to nothing going our way off the pitch and in the courts. But to me getting those 3 points back is a big deal. Even if it means Olympiakos get their 3 points back too. Even though pitch invasions have always been a crime punishable with a points deduction. Huge game tomorrow, I just pray the result is played out on the pitch....
  20. I read that it was because the game hadn't officially started so it wasn't interrupted. PAOK are at fault for the game not starting therefore we lose the match 3-0. But since it wasn't stopped during playing time there is no deduction of points. We found a loop hole and took advantage. http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/Hellas/Superleague/paok/kshmerwmata-edwsan-pisw3-vathmous-kai-kosmo-ston-paok.5115765.html
  21. happy about getting the 3 points back, neither here nor there on having fans Rule for tomorrows game, fans must be naked or no entry, only thing they'll be throwing onto the pitch is their cocks Olympiakos to take this decision to UEFA or CAS?
  22. To further that, in what I can recall with CAS, it's pretty rare they overturn decisions made by Federations/UEFA. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. I'd be shocked if we get our points back I'd also be surprised if olympiako get theirs back as well. My guess, and the most likely scenario is all punishments stand. We'll be 5 points behind AEK and Olympiakos will be 2 points behind us
  24. Savvas Theodoridis son is like 3rd in line for UEFA. He's the general secretary Just saying
