The draw is taking place as I type this. Earlier the Superleague 1 announced the match calendar:
-
Pena's sale price was 315K.

Apparently we are close to signing the forward Walid Cheddar from Napoli. His goal output the last few years has been very minimal.
-
He comes to Greece every summer. Usually to his resort in Halkidiki. However this time it is reported that he will be in Thessaloniki on Thursday.
-
From what I heard from my own trusty uncle Mitso the team has set aside upto 2 mil for a striker's salary and additional sum for a possible purchase price. Apparently there are two strikers we are talking to right now and the goal is to sign one of them by the time the team leaves for Holland.
-
That's not the final list. If the teams that will apply to play in Superleague 2 falls bellow 18, than there will be only one group instead of the scheduled two. As the Dutchman notes, Lamia already withdrew. There are at least 4 other teams that are thinking of withdrawing (including PAS Giannina) from Superleague 2. The deadline for applications is July 7.

Not sure what to make of all these Konstantelias rumors. Since it appears that the Kotarski sale is stalling, I will not be surprised if we decide to accept the offers from Germany and England. However I would not accept anything below 25 mil. Jonny Otto signed with Alaves, which was expected for a while now. The Tissoudali transfer was officially announced today. We will be getting around 1.5 mil for him. Another player that will most likely leave PAOK is Pena, who will sign with a team in Peru, which basically means we will need to sign another midfielder.

Nikos Karageorgiou will remain the coach for the PAOK 'B' Team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.

Great day for Greece. After 3 days we are above the relegation zone. I think we erased the 16 points we lost from Karalis with some great efforts by our athletes today. Tomorrow if our athletes can stay close to their seasons best we should be able to stay in the top division.
-
Unfortunately she is the only one so far that over-performed. Korakidis barely threw over 70 meters. Rafailidou about one meter behind her best so far this year. Papavasiliou finished last in 400 meters. Franks ran 45.46 in 400 meters and finished 9th. Right now we are in 15th place leaving only Lithuania behind.
-
The Maite deal is 1+1 with a salary of 1.4 mil plus bonuses. We also are going to pay Benfica close to 1 mil to get his freedom. Greg Taylor deal is for 3-years at 800K. Apparently the next two targets are a center forward and a center defender.
-
Say goodbye to the 16 points as Karalis withdrew from the competition. That's a big loss and brings us closer to the relegation to the 'B' group.
-
Adamopoulou jumped only 4.30m, but the fact that she cleared 4.15m and 4.30m on first tries placed her in 6th place (tied with another athlete), which means she will get 10.5 points for Greece in the standings. Let's hope for full 16 points from Karalis later today.

Here are some of the images that PAE PAOK released today:
-
Tomorrow is the deadline for Meite to reply to our offer. Let's see what happens. I am curious to see what PAOK (and Lucescu) will do when he does not reply. Also the player we were after in January and apparently again this summer David Jurasek has turned us down and will sign with AEK. Same with Pedro Chirivella who we were apparently after is now being signed by Panathinaikos.

The Amateur PAOK (or AC PAOK) is the arm that runs the amateur teams and sports under the PAOK umbrella. They own the name PAOK. They also own the stadium and the land that the stadium stands on. The professional teams of PAOK (football and basketball) are run separately by their owners, but by law AC PAOK has a 10% ownership in those teams. Those teams pay AC PAOK fees to use the name as well as the stadiums (Toumba for football and the PAOK Sports Arena for basketball).

Apparently from what I heard on one of the radio stations, UEFA does not allow straight 1-year deals and the teams get around it by calling it 1+1. Not sure how true that is.
-
PAOK and Taison agreed to sign a new contract for 1+1 seasons worth 650K per season.
-
The person behind the plan to oust Savvidis, the president of Amateur PAOK, Thanasis Katsaris resigned today, so it remains to be seen what the next steps will be. Here is his resignation letter:

The sponsor in question is Superbet from Romania, and they will also be the sponsors for Panathinaikos. However first they have to get a license from the state in order to be able to operate in Greece. Apparently they will buy a Greek betting company in order to be able to do so. I heard the figure of 4.5 mil per season, while Stoiximan was paying us 2.8 mil per season, so it is quite a nice upgrade.
