Alex, my understanding is that Aravidis made contact but Aris was not interested. Aside from the players already on board as of today, Velez is expected tomorrow, the young Brazilian will probably join on loan from Udineze and one more player is expected who will surprise. Depending on how satisfied the coach is by the roster other players could be added towards the end of August since prices will drop by those still unsigned.

Since Aris has been officially promoted to the S.L., will the administrators please move our room to the appropriate location? Thank you in advance for your efforts!!

I read that as well, 20 teams next year but 12 the following year I believe. Very unorthodox!!

I did not think he would make it into November and I am glad he proved me wrong. The team took on his character and was always calm and calculated and extremely efficient. The effort was very business like all year long. Hopefully someone will give him a chance in the SL soon, he deserves it.

Definitely no current players and I highly doubt any future stars from this roster.

The new coach appears to be well known and respected in his country so hopefully this will help Aris land some quality players as far as the SL is concerned. From a completely selfish viewpoint, if I'm going to dedicate 2 hours to watch an Aris game I'd like the product on the field to be competitive.

Aris victory yesterday clinched promotion to the SL. Congrats and good luck next year. My wish is that they will not repeat past mistakes that led to financial issues but I have a better chance of winning the Chicago marathon than that happening!!

I read that VAR will be used next year in the S.L., I hope they only use it to determine the legitimacy of goals and for nothing else. I've watched some games in the Budensliga where they stop the game minutes after the infraction because it was determined a P.K. was missed by the official and it is an absolute mess, just today they brought back the teams from the locker rooms at halftime for that reason.

According to the article below Aris needs two victories in the remaining 6 matches (two games will not be played since Axarnaikos and Veroia have folded) to earn the promotion.
