Where did you read that Chris?

I wouldn't worry at all if I were an OFI fan, not that I do not believe that games get fixed but nothing ever happens in Greece. This same coach accused Aris and the same team of the same thing and early this week I read that the Veroia - Aris game was also being investigated. On a different note, I've read the last couple of days separate articles about prospective transfers to Aris for next year, I'm all for planning ahead but promotion hasn't been achieved yet so maybe it's not a good idea to count the chickens before they hatch.

I completely forgot about the game. Haven't seen OFI play but from the results I gathered they were a better team. As long as we get promoted I don't care if we finish in 1st or 2nd.

Congrats to them for another victory. They are not capable of putting teams away and give the fanbase a heart attack, it seems like every week, but all is well that ends well.

I disagree Chris, I believe he is way ahead of everyone. His ratings are high because people follow him whether they like him or not.

A lot of people don't like Raptopoulos but I enjoy him.

Sure, a victory in this game would be huge but a tie wouldn't be too bad. They need to catch us so holding off isn't necessarily all that bad.

We lost ground to OFI but gained a point from Panaxaiki since they lost to Ergoteli today (2-1).

I watched the last 30 minutes of the game and was not surprised by the final score. I do think the goal Aris scored was legit because the Kallithea player, I believe it was the black guy, kept our player onside. Overall though Aris did not do enough to win this game. To be fair the quality is not there and I guess one can't expect it given the league Aris is currently participating in. Teams that sit back will always give us problems because of what I previously mentioned. I was impressed by the field conditions but disappointed in the unnecessary delaying by our opponents and the lack of awareness by some of our guys especially Bourbos.

I read that the Greek-American investor, Tom Papadopoulos, is trying to package a deal in which Aris will be working with English side Gillingham F.C. (https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com).

This was the first game I have watched all year and it made my eyes bleed. At the end the Veroia defenders did everything in their power to allow a goal but put the ball in the net for Aris. If Aris, and by all accounts it appears everything is working in our favor, do get promoted they will need a new roster for the Superleague. Does our current owner have such financial capabilities?

Will we be able to watch the Veroia game on the net?

Personally I believe it, the sport is completely corrupt so guilty by association. Given that it was the first game of the season I'm inclined to believe that the motives were strictly financial for all parties and not meant for promotional purposes. Considering our owner owed money to players from the previous season and what their owner allegedly said about covering expenses, it makes sense. I went back and watched highlights and their defense does seem a bit lax. Keeping in mind that Aris struggles to score it all fits. I don't believe anything will come of it because the source has an axe to grind with Aris for one and secondly it's all hearsay. In the states his testimony would not be allowed, if anything an investigation would follow and that would be it as far as our former coach is concerned.
