A draw would not be bad at all but it would need to be followed by a victory next week because 3 games against the top 3 teams in the SL follow.

He's active but very sloppy. I'd say he's the perfect player to bring off the bench to give the team a boost with his energy.

During the week Fetfatzidis signed with Aris, not to fond of another ex-OSFP player signing with us. Having said that, I really liked the kid when he came onto the scene but admittedly have no idea how he has performed in the past 5 years. Can I get some help?

My comments were based on scoring opportunities or lack there of. PAS had a couple decent ones off of set plays while Aris didn't appear to have any good ones. As for the PK, we will agree to disagree. Bottom line, very difficult to win games 1-0 following this recipe.

I just watched the highlights of the game, boy did we get lucky. PAS should have been awarded a PK early in the game, lucky for us the ref wasn't in a position to see it.

This has been a problem at Aris for ever. They sign Herrera bring players to fit his style and then let him go 6-7 games into the season. Enter Pantelidis, the better players on the current roster can not play his style, they are used to playing small ball with by possessing not giving room and chasing. So now they are signing new players to fit what the new coach wants to do which will naturally pose issues at the get go leaving points on the pitch until everyone is adjusted. This summer the merry-go-round will begin again with the hiring of a new coach. This is Aris.

Good thing we got rid of Herrera who wouldn't listen to the experienced Karipidi and brought in our current coach.

Very unprofessional on his behalf to go after Herrera like that. I'm not sure what exactly his point is since Aris played very well while the Spaniard was in charge. Sounds like Aris has agreed to terms with Mihaly Korhut who is a Hungarian left back. Does this mean that either Valeriano or Menendez will be departing? Not sure I understand this move.

I agree about Parasxos but I am very biased towards him since I spent my youth watching him play at Kastoria and listening to my father talk about him as being a true professional.

I'm not sure what I was looking at but my initial post was incorrect, Aris has scored 15 goals and given up 12. Only four players have scored in SL games (Younes 6, Garcia 5, Gama 2 & Dingini 2), with that said I predict a 1-0 victory for our team. The goal will be scored by Delizisis off a set piece.

All 6 victories have come against teams in the lower half of the table, time to add a quality victory that will help inspire the lads going forward.

Aris has scored 10 goals in 12 games and given up 9, this means only one goal will be scored on Sunday so let's keep our fingers crossed that it will be Aris doing the scoring!!!!! Tough match, I'm hoping for a draw.

Aris roster is comprised of aging quality players who prefer playing possession futbol, so I think we can all agree that you can't teach old dogs new tricks. As seen in plenty of games this style forces opponents to withdraw allowing very little room for the attacking players. In order to break through individual effort is required and the only player who has been consistent in doing this is Garcia (makes sense given he is young and trying to make a name for himself). In my opinion, the challenge for our coach isn't formations but making sure the players are mentally prepared and properly motivated. It would be a mistake to keep Younes on the bench for this game, he is coming off a two goal performance and is without a doubt on a high. With the exception of the AEK game Aris had the opportunity to win all games and I have no reason to believe that this weekend will be any different. Scoring has been a problem though, not starting your best in the box scorer makes no sense to me.

Judging from the highlights, Aris deserved to win the game. Hats off to the players for playing until the final whistle. I said it before and I'll say it again, given this roster Younes needs to be playing because of his size.

If I were him, I'd go back to the starting line-up from the start of the season.

I read that our new coach wants to concentrate on a stingier defense and line awareness so your line-up might not accomplish that worm. Do you guys think we might see Basha in there along with Matilla and Siopis?

Aris scored before the first minute was up maintained meaningless possession and gave up a goal off a set piece minutes before the end of the half. You can't have Basha & Siopis in together. Matilla needs to play and the Tunisian must be inserted into the game as well, when Aris plays teams that sit back his size alone helps.
