Aris makes the SL much better because of history, fanbase and competition. I must admit Rockafeller I paid attention to the national team games this past week for the reason you stated above. I read today the Swede practiced yesterday so hopefully he will play this weekend. He is a sloppy player but his speed spreads out defenses creating some space for his teammates, so I hope he can play.

Aris is your life long love, I mean you have loved Aris longer than everyone except your parents and siblings (unless one of your siblings is much younger than you), so sure it makes sense. Just to make sure I'm not misunderstood, not saying you love the team you root for more than your significant other and children but longer.

It's a natural reaction, 4 yrs. away from the SL is a very long time. Abreu was, and still is, a character. Some guys have a knack for scoring and he was one of them, always in the right spot. Nothing to do with Aris but the best forward, in my opinion, who had the ability, for what it's worth I couldn't stand him, was Filippo Inzaghi. Every time I would watch him play I'd ask myself how does this giant boob play top level futbol and then he would proceed to score a hat trick.

UK, while I share your frustration with our Tunisian forward, I believe he is necessary in the 2 upcoming home games. Both opponents will most likely defend not allowing for many openings in front of their goal. He is tall and strong and Aris might very well need to score from set plays since we only have a couple players that can create in tight spaces. We should win both but the past has taught me nothing is certain when Aris plays these type of games at home. My wish is they both have the same outcome as the game in Tropoli last month when the outcome was determined in the first half, Aris fans deserve less nerve rattling results.

With all due respect it's crap like this that drive me nuts with Greek teams. Always looking to complain about officials to excuse their loss. Turn any game on in any league and you will see refs making mistakes, it's part of the game, learn to deal with it. I seriously hope KED throws this request in the garbage.

No point in overanalyzing here, the team is still within the goal of Europe and will hopefully chalk this up as a learning experience.

I believe this will be the line-up with one difference, Tonso instead of Martinez.

Hamza will be useful when we play games at home against opponents who will sit back and wait for us. He may very well start this weekend though because of injuries.

Not having Diguiny in this game is a real shame as he was perfect in the counter game Pantelidis likes to play. I'm curious to see how the coach will handle this game since he will not have an active player who defends very well. Does he stick with Hamza up top and Larsson behind him or does he move the Swede to the top and insert Tonso behind him and one of Martinez/Fetfa opposite Garcia? I hope he keeps Velez/Rose in place, Deli can come back in the next round, and the of course the same with Matilla/Siopis.

Pantelidis has proven he can coach against teams that like to attack, if he can improve his coaching at home against teams that park the bus and defend we should be fine going forward. Hats off to Diamantopoulos for the winter transfers,.
