John van ' t Schip is said to have recalled Manolas for the qualification because he was not removed from the squad forever. Now a comeback is to come for the games against Spain 🇪🇦 and Georgia 🇬🇪. As it stands with Papastathopoulos and Siovas as well as Mitroglou is not yet known. 🇬🇷

Manolas/Papa were told they could be back. Ninis is still not that old. If they honor their commitment, I do not have a problem with them.

I don't think this new Conference League is going to be as easy competition as everyone thinks. You are still going to have teams from top European leagues. They might not be the top teams from those leagues, but still strong teams. There will teams similar to Granada that we faced last season, and we could not even score in the two games we played them.

You want your best players. If you don't want to include Mitroglou/Papastathopoulos bc they are older, I get it. Papastathopoulos may offer some leadership/professionalism but I understand. Attitude and professionalism though are imperative. If you can't offer that, then you don't belong.

Με τον Ολυμπιακό είχα εκφράσει την αισιοδοξία μου από νωρίς. Δεν θα πω όμως το ίδιο γι' αυτό το παιχνίδι. Κι οι λόγοι είναι πολλοί. Πρώτα από όλα γιατί τα παιχνίδια παίζονται κυρίως εξωγηπεδικά κι ελάχιστα στο χορτάρι. -Μη κοιτάτε που μερικοί δεν καταφέρνουν να νικήσουν ούτε τα στημένα παιχνίδια που τους "σπρώχνουν"- Κι όταν αυτός ο ποδοσφαιρικός θίασος μέλλει να παίξει το κύκνειο άσμα του, σε κανένα δεν θα είναι έκπληξη να δει τα πάνω-κάτω στο ποδόσφαιρό μας. Ειδικά τώρα πού έπεσαν τα προσχήματα, και δεν ντρέπονται μερικοί να ομολογούν πως είναι η μαφία του ποδοσφαιρικού παραμάγαζου. Το συμφέρον πάνω από όλα... Το ματς αυτό λοιπόν πάει πακέτο με τα δύο επόμενο. Πήγε Πέμπτη και δεν τέλειωσε ακόμη το "μαγείρεμα" των αγώνων για να ορίσουν και τις σφυρίκτρες που θα διαμορφώσουν το αποτέλεσμα που θέλουν. (Να προσέξουν αν θέλετε, μην ξεφύγει ο αγώνας από τα πλαίσια που του όρισαν). Κι αυτό για να μην μείνει χρόνος στις ομάδες να διαμαρτυρηθούν για όσα τους ετοιμάζουν. Στην δική μας περίπτωση δεν είναι ο αδιάφορος ουσιαστικά Ατρόμητος, αλλά άμεσα ενδιαφερόμενος συμπολίτης που ακολουθεί στο πρόγραμμα μας. Συνεπώς οι εντολές είναι ξεκάθαρες. Απευθείας κόκκινη σε έναν από τους Σάσα ή τον Τζέγκο -και δεύτερη κίτρινη κι αποβολή στον άλλο. Ή κάποιον στην άμυνα. ΚΑΙ οπωσδήποτε κάρτα σε αυτούς που είναι στο όριο με έμφαση στον Μπερτόγλιο. Ο Ατρόμητος δεν μας νοιάζει αν χάσει. Καιγόμαστε για τις κάρτες. Κι αυτές θα δώσουν το μπόνους στο παληκάρι που θα αναλάβει να μας σφυρίξει. Δεν λέω φυσικά για τερματοφύλακες γιατί τούτο το τρικ κανένας πλέον δεν το χάφτει. Ούτε κι έχει αποτέλεσμα (Βλέπε τι συνέβη στο Αγρίνιο με τον Κνετ και το φιάσκο του ΠΑΟ). Το λέω με κάθε ειλικρίνεια πως με τρώει η περιέργεια να μάθω την ποδοσφαιρική ταρίφα που θα οριστεί για την συγκεκριμένη εκδούλευση της σφυρίκτρας από το παιδί που θα ορίσουνε να διευθύνει τον αγώνα!!! Όχι να το μάθουμε από τυχόν "νόμιμες υποκλοπές" τηλεφώνων πολύ αργότερα. Να διαρρεύσει απλώς στην πιάτσα. Γιατί ΧΡΗΜΑ ΔΕΝ ΥΠΑΡΧΕΙ ΝΑ ΚΙΝΗΘΕΊ. ΣΕ ΕΙΔΟΣ ΕΞΟΦΛΕΙΤΑΙ Η ΑΓΟΡΑ ΓΙΑ ΝΑ ΜΠΟΡΕΣΕΙ ΝΑ ΚΙΝΗΘΕΙ. Πάμε στο αγωνιστικό κομμάτι όπου δεν έχει και πολλά να πούμε. Η λογική συνιστά στους παίκτες μας προσοχή στις κάρτες. Να μη δώσουν την παραμικρή αφορμή να ψαχτεί ο ρέφερι για κάρτα. Ούτε στα μάτια να τους κοιτάμε, θα έλεγα εγώ. Γιατί το παιδί της ΚΕΔ δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να αψηφίσει το μπόνους που θα του δώσουν για την εκδούλευση. Να σφυρίζει κάθε Κυριακή και μεσοβδόμαδα. (Όπως πχ ο Σιδηρόπουλος που σφύριξε εχθές την ΑΕΛ, την Κυριακή με τον ΟΣΦΠ, και την μεθεπόμενη θα οριστεί για το ματς της Τούμπας. Πιθανότατα με την Κουρομπύλια, αν τα πάει καλά αυτή τη βδομάδα... Μπορεί βέβαια και να κάνω λάθος... αλλά δύσκολο. Μετρημένα είναι τα κουκιά...) Με την αμείλικτη απειλή της σφυρίκτρας είναι δύσκολο να κάνεις παιχνίδι για να κερδίσεις. Αλλά ο Παντελίδης μάλλον θα παίξει ανοικτά κι αυτό ίσως μας διευκολύνει να βρούμε κενά στην άμυνα. Γιατί αν παίξει ταμπούρι με 4 και 5 παίκτες να πατούν την περιοχή του είναι χαμένος από χέρι.

I couldn’t be more thrilled. We will need him to get through these qualifiers. The funny thing is he has been out injured for the last few weeks. It shows that JVS is desperate and he understands that if he wants to keep his job he will need to call him up. I don’t think Mitroglou is useful anymore. Unless he starts doing Giakoumakis numbers.

Also read about the drama surrounding Vlachodimos. Apparently hes not in the starting 11 because the owner and coach are at odds over him? I dont like that especially because i think hes our best bet. Every time I watch Barkas i see him look so skittish and drop balls. Ill beleive rhe Manolas thing when I see it but obviously it would be much welcomed. I still dont think hell start but yea Tziolis at least has to be on the bench. I dident realize his form over all cometitions and was looking more at his super league stats. I absolutely cant wait for these games. Honestly spain looked average in nations league although they thumped Germany recently....really wanna see how this goes down

@Pana_For_Life you make good points. We need to play our best players and I think JVS is starting to realise it. Now that he’s considering Manolas, I will always put Manolas in my team selections on the forums. This is the 23 man squad I’d choose.. Vlachodimos Androutsos Manolas Mavropanos Tsimi Ninis Zeca Masouras Fortounis Tzolis Douvikas Subs: Giakoumakis, Barkas, Dioudis, Alexandropoulos, Ioannidis, Mantalos, Goutas, Michailidis, Bouchalakis, Lykogiannis, Limnios, Giannoulis. That’s the best currently in my opinion. I know some guys are thinking Ninis again? But the guy on his day is our best midfielder. Go watch full match replays if the last 2 games he’s played with Volos. You can’t tell me you wouldn’t be impressed with his creative passing and movement. The only problem with him is that he is injury prone. Apart from that the guy creates well, defends well and reads the game well. You can even start Tsimikas or Giannoulis at LM/LW and take out Masouras and put Tzolis RW. Douvikas is there because I like him the most and he’s in great from. He’s scoring every week. Androutsos should start at RB but I see JVS playing Mavrias or Rota there. He’ll probably call up a few more since we have friendlies to play aswell. Kampetsis could get a call. I haven’t put Pelkas and Bakasetas as they most likely will be involved.

Does anyone know if qualifying games will be shown in Canada. Dazn doesn’t have the rights and agonasport is no more. Vlacho siovas manolas tsmikas fortounis Zeca and giakoumakis. Everyone else is interchangeable. Tziolis is almost there but he needs to show his potential for the national team. As seen in the past and also with other teams if your two best backs kick with the same foot who cares u play them both enough of this rota or bakakis I’d rather have androutsos or mavrias as a rb worse case scenario. Rota bakakis michaelidis pavlidis bouchalakis barkas bakasetas travellas should be kept away from the team but knowing our coach we will probably see barkas bakakis tzavellas michaelidis tsmikas zeca boucha Mantalos bakasetas fortounis giakoumakis the changes that need to be done our obvious just hope the coach uses his brain and doesn’t listen to the epo or agents of the players because enough is enough we have been struggling without results for far too long!!!!
