Did anyone notice at the end that they all got together to take in the win, they wanted it badly!!

We might not agree with JVS playing certain players but let’s be honest he has them playing a good fast paced system with lots of pressure.. The Italy game even though we lost gave us some optimism and we were unlucky but today’s game against Bosnia was the best all around performance in the last 4 years hands down.. With out getting to far ahead of ourselves this coach looks like he knows what he’s doing.. We dominated the Bosnians IMO.. Hope we keep building on this.. Finally a good feeling after a game for once!!

Schip also deserves praise, the mentality of the guys and the pace of the team was excellent!

The best the team has looked since the middle of World Cup qualifying. Really encouraging.

Crazy the opportunities we have passed up... what could have been...

@Ellada2004 is talking about how a hockey First Nation like Finland fills the stadium during soccer and a soccer crazed country like Greece doesn’t fill the stadium when the NT plays.. His point is when Finland were playing bad soccer they would still fill the stadium as most countries do, as the NT should always get support.. I’m from toronto and the leafs have been s%$#! for years before they started improving yet the stadium was always filled to the tits.. I do think the Greek mentally is if the team is s%$#! don’t support and will only start to come when there is a winning product on the field which is not right... playing in this god awful stadium is doing more bad then god and the NT need to get there own stadium and a smaller stadium where the fans can make it a hostile environment for opposing teams.. Hopefully Crete is ready for our next campaign and can attract more fans..

JVS has come in and in two months has changed the mindset of this team. He has them playing a high tempo attacking style and really pressing the opposition in there own half. His lineup choices haven't been perfect but I have to admit Bakasetas was good today and if the results are there then so be it. Though I think come the WCUP qualifiers he will field our best starting eleven. JVS had the guts to tell Sokratis & Manolas to stay home which I don't think we would have seen from the other coaches that have come before him. They are both top class players but it seems the team is more focused without them. Hopefully if they get the call up again they will focus on playing football and not cause a circus around the NT. If they keep up these type of performances than we will see more Greeks filling the stadium. I even saw Donis in the stands applauding the team. We have to get that passion back as we were so use to after our euro glory. All in all a positive step forward.

I only saw the last 10 minutes, I nearly fell off the couch when I saw us high pressing and playing with intensity, will need to watch the replay 25 shots is ridiculous by our standards.

It's time to stop blaming egos and painting every who plays on a big club as problematic. When a team is losing, it is natural that the more established players of better quality get frustrated with at ones unable to keep up. After a while, that frustration boils over into ego and bad vibes around the team. Our NT failed because of the lack of quality in most positions, bad tactics and player selection. The sentiment that followed was to be expected.
