  1. Olympiakos was fine 26K for the silly smoke bombs. I expect a heavier fine, including fan ban. Also from what I heard, the fan that threw the flare was apparently beat up by gate 4 fanatics. As for the ball crossing the line. All indications are that it crossed the line after watching countless replays. Linesman made a mistake and as noted above he was in a bad position to begin with. I don't think it was on purpose as a lot of AEK fans are claiming. Anyway only 5 minutes earlier on the other side the sideline ref did not give corner kick to PAOK even though the ball was touched by Anestis after Rodrigues shot. It's silly to make such a big deal about minor mistakes like this. if you really want to see crooked refreeing you should have watchd the Atromitos - Olympiakos game. Talk about influencing the result of the game.

  2. The fact that you find transgender people and vegans as "c*nts" and "disgusting" does not give you license to say so here. The stated reason for the warning was "inappropriate language" and my post was to remind everyone where they are and the rules that govern this forum. And, yes, we welcome all genders and foodies here. We could have a conversation as to the definition of "normal" and how we should react to the "abnormal".... But, if I may offer an opinion on the subject, it's very ..uncool to feel the need to label others disgusting based on dietary or lifestyle choices and how someone is born. Com'on now.

  3. OS, just saw the highlights. The ball was out. No doubt about it. In The Netherlands we are using video-refs in the cup games. Very helpfull. FIFA and UEFA have loads of money. Every European match should have that ref. Does not cost much as the game is already registrated for the NOVA's of this world. Rugby has proven that it is fair and a success. Flares suck. We deserve a fine. If the one that has thrown this is not found, just close G4 again and don't allow them to enter another gate. Every club must do more to avoid these flares to be brought into the stadium. It is not fair for the good fans but maybe this will help. First time from now. One game ban with empty kerkides. Second time: two games ....... Tenth time: 10 games. But as we have concluded earlier. No one in Greece has the guts for a decent law agains those hooligans. Than the game itself. The keepers were very good. Don't know if another keeper than Anestis would have blocked the goal/ball. But who on earth decided to wear pink shirts with a bling bling logo at AEK?Where are the yellow and black colours?? Why do clubs sell their soul to the merchandising devil??

  4. You are right, their passing game is better and execution on point. Greece seems to be afraid to press defenders and, once in the final third of the field, tend to rely on crosses from the wing or long-range attemps. That is too predictable and simply not good enough to beat a dynamic team like Bosnia. Greece gives up possession too easily with long balls, negative passing, long-range shots, and poor off-the-ball movement. Giving up the ball cheaply to a team like Bosnia, a pressing side that try to get into dangerous scoring positions with every possession, can spell disaster for Greece. Bosnia is comfortable dictating play and gain confidence with possession. Greece must keep the ball as much as possible in order to frustrate their opponents. If Skibbe isn`t talking about this in the room, then there is a major issue. Despite this, I still think we have a chance in this match, because our defensive players, both individually and as a unit, should be enough to make a game out of this. If we approach the match with courage, claim the ball, press their defenders and hunger for goals, all while remaining sound defensively, we will win; if we play scared, they will smell fear, taste blood, and massacre us.

  5. Larissa's owner is an absolute maniac. Greece: where you lose when you win. Their record, incidentally, was 2/2/3. And only three points out of an EL slot (at this early stage).

  6. Can you post in every topic on the main board ? I know it's a lot of work, but I want to see that avatar EVERYWHERE! ;)

  7. I wasn't even thinking about the transfer cost. I don't think it would be too much as he hasn't been in the Fener starting 11 for a long time and they would probably be happy to (a) get him off their wage bill and (b) free up an internation slot. They only allow I think it's 6 international players in Turkey. If he came to us at say ~500K wages or less, I'd be happy to give him a go. But I can't see him agreeing to such a big drop in his wages. I don't care if we pay a player 5 million a year, but they need to perform proportionate to their wage. Yes, I'm looking at you Berbatov.

  8. He's an embarrassment to Larisa. Good luck finding any decent managers or players with Kougias having Tony Montana moments every month or so when he's on his rags.

  11. No idea. I'm hoping he's got a few G4 "xooliguns" on the payroll. Without witnesses willing to come forward, nothing can be achieved. Not sure if there are cameras but even then it's not like in England where everyone sits down in an orderly fashion. I would be ecstatic if they caught him though. http://inpaok.com/325845/

  12. A lot of fans and some reporters would be happy if it hit Campos. Maybe that's what he was aiming for ? ;)

  13. Do I think the linesman was paid ? No. Do I think he made a bad decision ? Yes, because he's left doubt in everyone's mind which will never be 100% answered, although the ball looks much more out than in. Does s%$#! happen ? Yes. It is what it is. Will I come up with another avatar for Amorgos when we play AEK in Athens ? F-U-C-K Y-E-A-H !!!

  14. the point is we only have one proper striker..Mitro who goes missing at times... Vellios is a poor man's Mitro..who is slower, poor finisher and limited. I do not rate Karelis either..but he is our best second option...because he is more mobile than Vellios and can pinch hit in other positions to compliment Mitro if needed... In the ideal world we would have two killer wide players like Leto,Mirallas,Galletti, Djole....etc...feeding Mitro...and behind him Fortounis... .....................................karnezis................................ toro.........................sokratis..........manolas............(should be lloyd) .........................................taxi..........samaris............. .................................................fortounis.................... mirallas/galletti.................................................................leto/djole ...........................................mitro................................... THIS IS OUR PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Bosnia is no cakewalk, 4 years ago they proved that against Greece. It's up to Greece if they decide to play football and stop committing those stupid turnovers.

  17. Just saw the highlights, the "corner" that lead to PAOKs goal was not a corner and should have been a goal-kick instead... Two straight seasons that we've gotten punished by questionable calls in Toumba... Auta..

  18. good points maggica. playing defensive football might be wise given the circumstances. perhaps a backline of staf, kpaps, manolas, sokratis.

  19. I really think it's time for PAOK to spend up on a good striker. Easier said than done of course. But it's painfully obvious that for once (and this is good!) we have a pretty solid team overall but don't have that striker up front to lead the team. Klaus isn't exactly fear inspiring.

  20. ninis had a goal and an assist today. since we normally use mantalos as a right winger anyways, i think that ninis could be a good option off the bench for cam. anyways, i dont like our chances of beating bosnia, to be honest, because: -torosidis is injured and we dont have a competent replacement. i dont know how long he is injured for. other options are bakakis, kitsiou, galitsios, kpaps (lol) -maniatis and tziolis dont have clubs, and, therefore, aren't match sharp. Petsos usually doesn't even make the bench for werder bremen (one of the worst teams in germany) you can train all you want, but you need playing time to be match ready. samaris just got back from injury and has barely played. kone is also injured. kpaps isnt getting game time, and i dont really like him that much as a cdm anyway. the only in-form cdm we have is tach! -we dont have any good, pure wingers. perhaps we can call up one of fetfa, platellas, or kaltsas (whoever is in form) -holebas retired -dzeko is in the form of his life, pjanic will probably outclass our midfield If you take into consideration all these factors, it is not looking good for Greece. We still have excellent CBs, karelis is on fire (scored again today), we've won 5 games in a row, and we will have home support. Still, I'd be content with a draw. We can still get 2nd place in the group with a draw. With less injuries and players in better form, we can get a result in bosnia.
