Am I going crazy, or did I see a while back that Novasports and Cosmote had agreed to some sort of sharing of home games? And of course, that question extends to what happens with that online overseas streaming service?

I ended up not bothering last season because of how few games were actually being carried. Could be a game changer if I can now get like 90% of the matches...

Saw that too. But as Elladastan is Elladastan it is useless as the big 4 (or 5 if you like) aren't seperated for kickoffs. The gavro start their season the same day and same hour as we do. The marketing of the supa league is bad.

I don't see any changes this season. It will probably be the same setup as last season. As far as I know the deal between COSMOTE and Novasport was for Greece only.

The international streaming service Net TV Plus that showed some games last season is owned by Novasport and was only able to show the games that Novasport had rights to. I don't see that changing for this season.

As for the regular (non-streaming) international TV rights we will probably see the same arrangement as previous seasons. Antenna Satellite/Pacific and Sport Plus will split the games among themselves.

I don't see any significant changes happening until 2025-26 season, when apparently the Superleague will attempt to set up a collective agreement concerning the TV rights.

Still no TV contract for the next season's Superleague games. Savvidis said that if we don't receive a contract that is close to the ones that AEK and Panathinaikos get, he will award the rights to the PAOK home games to OPEN TV.

I wonder what that would mean for most of us given we live abroad. The past few seasons, between Sports Plus and Antenna we had access to every PAOK game. At least in Australia, I think the US was the same as well.

Maybe a move to Open will mean a better quality of picture, but I think that is more a satellite thing than a Greek TV station thing. The Satellites they use to pick up the channels have to be at least 50 years old.

Well here in the US the problem was that for the two channels (Antenna Satellite and Sport Plus) the satellite providers (Dishnetwork) were using SD (Standard Definition) instead of HD (High Definition). Since the beginning of this year Dishnetwork stopped distributing the Greek channels via their satellites (and SD) and instead they are now feeding those signals via streaming which resulted in a much better signal.

Looks like PAOK's Superleague home games will remain on Novasports for the upcoming season. Apparently we are close to signing a deal for 12 mil. It's not sure if the deal is directly with Novasport, or if we are signing with this new company Percapita, which in turn sells the rights to Novasports.

Looks like the deal with Nova is for the next 2 seasons.

Yes we are signing with Nova for 2 more seasons at 10 mil (+2 mil in bonuses) per season. These are for the Superleague 1 home games.

As for the Europa League (or Conference League) qualifying and playoffs games, it is reported that the home games will be televised by OPEN Beyond TV

So it's 12 million per season with Nova Sports which isn't bad.  I'm guessing the bonus is for making the playoffs.  I forget, how much were the other mob offering?

The TV deal with Novasports is official. Two year deal for 10 mil (plus bonuses). We did not sign directly with Novasports, but with the new company Percapita, which subleased the games to Novasports.

As for the international rights to our home games it looks they will continue to be available on Sport Plus in USA, Canada and Australia.
