Dutch Eagle Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Lucescu will be back and all the naughty boys too 🙃
Dutch Eagle Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Jonny will serve his suspension. Michailidis has had 10 stitches after the collosion and according to the protocol only from Monday on welcome for training (if he is capable to do so).
pash Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Is there any chance he officially has a concussion? Or is this still undetermined.
Blackhawk Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Michailidis has to follow a protocol and can't practice until Monday. This rules him out of the game. As the Dutchman mentioned Jonny is serving a card ban. Also, Kotarski came down with the flu and most like will miss the game. Pavlenka who missed some practices with the flu as well will probably replace him. Finally it's not clear if Taison who is facing psychological issues will be present as well. Today he was excused from practice to clear his head.

In other countries (mainly Australia and the US) around the world concussion is an automatic stand down from playing and training anywhere between 10-14 days. In Greece it is take the weekend off levendi and we'll see you on Monday! Just on a sidenote, it is an area in which football does lag behind in other sports. Concussion is a huge issue in sports and while not as prevalent in football, it is something that isn't really taken as serious. I know a few years ago the EPL that had introduced an extra sub for a concussed player but I am not sure that is a thing anymore. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Squad for tomorrow: Kotarski (flu) and Schwab/Brandon (rested) not included.
Blackhawk Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 Pavlenka is sick, so Tsiftsis gets a start. Taison in the lineup.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Lamia the opponent and it is raining cats and dogs ==> empty stands.
PaokCT Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Taison 1 goal 0 assists in 16 matches this year in SL. And as a 37 year old. No reason he should be taking time away from younger players
Blackhawk Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 Agreed. Specially in a game like today. So far we are dominating them, but nothing to show for it yet.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Ozdoyev btw received a yellow at 0-0 after a brutal foul aftewards. The ref had - very good decision - given advantage and showed the card later. It's his third so he will miss one of the last two matches of the regular season as PAOK won't choose next week against Oly for sure.
Blackhawk Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 2:0 halftime. Good score. Couple more in 2nd half and take it easy ahead of the trip to Bucharest.
