Blackhawk
All German officiating crew for this one, with the scared shitless Tzilos as the 4th official. As we witnessed yesterday the 4th official can directly influence the result of a game.
paokarag4
The only positive thing is with the cup games midweek is Aris having lost the game in such a heartbreaking away and playing 120 mins, you'd think they'd be emotionally and physically tired. They have nothing left to play for this season and I know they always fire up to play us regardless but I feel that being so soon after the Cup exit they will be disheartened. I hope so anyway because let's be honest Aris has well and truly had the better of us this season. In terms of the team I was happy with how we played at Olympiakos. El Kaddouri suspended for this one? He was probably due for a rest anyway he's played 3 games in a row and his body must be close to breaking down. So it's probably Esiti and Maurcio in midfield with Pelkas (if fit) back as the dekari. Tzolis looked good, wonder if he'll start again.
pash
Yeah, lot of question marks there. The same back line and Esiti are shoo-ins of course. Probably Mauricio as well. Limnios should get the start, but otherwise who knows. I'd like to see Pelkas but perhaps Ferreira liked what he saw in the first half (when we had three in the midfield), particularly in comparison to the disaster that was the second. I'd probably give Akpom the start in this game as well. They're going to rough up the CF no matter who it is, so may as well give it to someone who can give some back. Athens4
Limnios' knee is hurt, he is now doubtful for the game. To be fair we have no shortage of wingers but this is probably the one we didn't want to lose.
Dutch Eagle
No Pelkas and Vieirinha due to injuries (none of Crespo, Jaba, Misic and Augusto is probably going to be on the field the rest of this season). El Kaddouri is suspended. Limnios is in the squad that consists of only 19 players (Wernbloom is not mentioned/included at all): Πασχαλάκης , Ζίβκοβιτς , Μάτος , Ροντρίγκο , Βαρέλα , Ίνγκασον , Μιχάι , Μιχαηλίδης , Γιαννούλης , Εσίτι , Μαουρίσιο , Τσιγγάρας , Μπίσεσβαρ , Λάμπρου , Λημνιός , Στοχ , Σφιντέρσκι , Άκπομ , Τζόλης. Blackhawk
Limnios has been very poor since the league restart. i think some bench time might do him good. El Kaddouri has been playing fairly well and will be missed tomorrow. My lineup for the game: ------------------ Paschalakis -------------------- Matos - Ingason - Varela - Giannoulis Tzolis ----- Esiti ----- Mauricio -----Stoch -------Biseswar -------- Swiderski -----------
pash
Interesting lineup -edit- in other words, blackhawk was spying on Ferreira's plans clearly Edited June 28, 2020 by pash
paokarag4
I like the starting XI, only option for central mid on the bench is Tsiggaras. Let's hope Esiti and Mauricio have no problem playing out the game.
pash
Yeah, but we don't exactly have a lot of options anyway. I guess if the wingers play far enough back they can offer some support, though realistically I'd only count on Biseswar to be able to play in the midfield. The others are too offensively-minded IMO. Maybe we'll see Mihaj put on as an Esiti replacement? He'd have the legs for it at least.

PaokCT
Just now, pash said: Cuesta with a third big save. How can opposing goalkeepers so consistently have their best career performances against us? We will sign him next year and then he’ll never get into a game . Isn’t that what usually happens?
pash
You're absolutely correct. We also will only have four GKs next season so we need to stock up.
