Efthymios Koulouris - Pogoń Szczecin

Ligue 1 side Toulouse have agreed a deal with PAOK over the purchase of 23-year-old forward Efthymios Koulouris.

After having an initial bid rejected, a second proposal worth €3.5m plus bonuses was accepted.

Koulouris scores an equalizer on the 88th minute of a 1-1 draw against Brest (First game of the regular season). Not a beauty but a goal nonetheless. He did miss some headers throughout the game but nothing horrible, I’d say he had a pretty good game.

Koulouris is playing his second game with Toulouse and just got an assist for the 1-0 with a nice cut back and ground cross. He’s playing very well, the guy really hustles and puts a lot of pressure on the defense, very unlike mitroglou. It’s currently 61 min and Toulouse is up 1-0. Toulouse has him as a sole striker with two VERY fast wingers

Koulouris was released by Toulouse and signed a two-year contract with his former club Atromitos. Did not play very much after a good start. Even in the second tier of France, as Toulouse was relegated in his first season.

As mentioned in the “other Greeks abroad” Koulouris is transferred from Atromitos to LASK.

And he now is at Alanyaspor on loan till the end of the season.

Next Greek to show up in Poland. Started well with 4 goals in 4 Conference League matches but his club had bad luck to encounter AA Gent in qualifying Q3 and was eliminated.

Koulouris and Pogoń lost the final of the Polish Cup against Legia Warsaw. He scored the second goal (with an assist of Koutris) making it 2-3 at that time and eventually lost 3-4.
