That's what makes losing at home to Sporting so infuriating. Great fans today, great defense, Proto made the saves he had to make. I wasn't sure we'd get a point from this group.
jason
Elabdellaoui should have been given a penalty Umtiti didnt get ball and stopped him from getting enough on ball. Edited November 1, 2017 by jason
Ellada2004
True, they play the top clubs very tough at home like Barca, Juve, Man U etc. They should have gotten something from the Sporting match had they been more prepared in the 1st half. Hopefully they can still grab a Europa league spot.

Tzatziki
Antaeus7
This is a surprising result. First time Barcelona got shut out in the group phase since 2012.
Ellada2004
Thats right Barca had not been shut out in a long time, love seeing Messi and Suarez and co. held off the scoresheet. Botia ran his arse off and Proto made some big saves.

Tzatziki
The team showed a lot of character to get a result against a couple of the most lethal attacking players around. With this type of effort, there will be some sour allothriskoi very soon I feel in our domestic competitions...no more half stepping!
