Brkic hurt his hip, but it doesn't seem serious. I'm guessing we'll see a few players sitting this game out due to accumulation of yellows (Leovac, Shakhov?)

Leovac is out. He will also miss the last game against Kerkyra. Shakhov is available, but he needs to get a card in this game in order to miss only one playoff game.

We need to win this game, just in case a miracle happens and Olympiakos loses the last two games in Superleague (Giannina, Panaitolikos), or if another miracle happens and they are deducted 6 points from the standings. Our goal should be to win the two SL games and give it our all in the return game with Panathinaikos in the cup and hope for the best.

Blackhawk, if you could compile some stats on how often we do better after a return leg looks insurmountable, I will gladly send you a tsoureki. My aunt gave me four :(

Hmmm. Linesman from Piraeus has been assigned for this game. 

The other thing that worries me is Parashos, the coach for Platanias who has a deep hatred for PAOK.

We will need to be careful, but we must achieve our goal, and that is a win.

Besides Leovac it appears that Canas will be rested for the cup game.

I wouldn't worry about his hatred, his record against us, at least in the last 2-3 seasons has been awful

He is still pissed off Zagorakis fired him from the PAOK coaching position in order to bring in Santos. He is the coach when PAOK lost 7:0 to some 5th division amateur side during pre-season, and then lost to Xanthi in the season opener.

Let him be pissed he is a mediocre coach who has been a journey man of greek football coaching. I don't think his platanias team of 2017 really give a spanakopita about what PAOK did to him 10 years ago.
