pash
No reason we shouldn't leave that stadium with three points in the bag.
Blackhawk
And pretty much end their dream of making the playoffs. This will be a tough game for us. Historically we never do good with them in Athens. Only 8 wins in 67 tries.
pash
Ending their playoff hopes would be to do a service to all of Greece. Don't need more teams unable to qualify for Europe.

Yiankos
Αυτό είναι το μεγάλο τεστ για την ομάδα μας. Μεγαλύτερο και από το προηγούμενο ματς.
Bananas
I expect a dour game with lots of yellow cards.
pash
Skibbe will be attending this match, after also attending our game vs Olympiakos and the away match vs Schalke. His assistant watched our 0-3 loss to Schalke. Guy's doing his homework.
BostonThanatos
Mystakidis is on the come up ... unless he's been looking at Klaus and Koulouris....the dynamic duo
pash
For sure. Kitsiou and Charisis don't get enough game time...Pelkas, he should already know (and also doesn't play)...and Malezas is too old / competing in a position with too much depth. Blackhawk
Skibbe should keep his dirty little hands off PAOK players. We don't need distractions on our team. Let him stick with Tziolis and Maniatis.
kozi
Having the likes of Pelkas and Mystakidis in the NT squad is good for their confidence and development. Short term they can be covered, long term they are better players for the team.
pash
Malezas is questionable for this game, he was taken off early vs Olympiakos due to a minor thigh injury. Everyone else should be available.
Blackhawk
Canas is back and will help our midfield. I expect a hard fought battle on Sunday.
Yiankos
Malezas trained without discomfort, he'll be ready for this match too.
Blackhawk
Reports are that Canas will start on the bench. I would have him as a starter. My ideal lineup for this game: ---------------- Glykos ---------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac ------ Cimirot ------- Canas -------- Campos ---- Warda ---- Henrique --------------- Prijovic ---------------- The only changes I would make is Mysta for Campos, but every time Mysta starts he is not as good as when he is subbed in. Going with Warda instead of Biseswar. Biseswar seems to disappear against bigger an tougher teams.
Yiankos
Συμφωνώ Ζιάκα σε όλα. Το μόνο που αμφιβάλλω είναι κατά πόσο είναι έτοιμος ο Κάνιας μετά από τον τραυματισμό του.
pash
Here are the players who are traveling to Athens: Γλύκος, Μπρκιτς, Λέοβατς, Μάτος, Πούγγουρας, Μαλεζάς, Κρέσπο, Βαρέλα, Κάτσε, Σάκχοφ, Τσίμιροτ, Κάνιας, Μπίσεσβαρ, Μυστακίδης, Ενρίκε, Κάμπος, Ουάρντα, Πρίγιοβιτς, Αθανασιάδης No Kitsiou - he seems to have picked up a minor injury during training. BostonThanatos
According to bookmakers, AEK is the slight favorite in this match.
pash
Lineup: --Glykos-- --Matos--Varela--Malezas--Crespo-- --Cimirot--Shakhov-- --Campos--Warda--Henrique-- --Prijovic-- I like the front four, though I think Canas should have gotten the start. Not a fan of Crespo as fullback, either.
teke817
if anyone has any links please post. As much as I would like to knock AEK out of the playoffs. AEK is a team that should be playing in Europe each year. No offense to any Xanthiotes out there ...
