Tzatziki Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Some pretty good music in that decade imo, feel free to post some of your faves!
Blackhawk Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 What happened to the other music thread (60's-90's). Kind of pointless to concentrate just on the 90's, which was nothing special IMHO.
Tzatziki Posted March 1, 2017 Author Posted March 1, 2017 I believe the person who started the topic has been exiled, and with him go his posts? Could be wrong, but this is the case I think.

By the way, Trainspotting was good movie. I like Ewan McGregor. 1
Tzatziki Posted March 1, 2017 Author Posted March 1, 2017 The original is my all time #1! When the sequel opens here in my market I will surely soil myself. As for the topic title, good call!

athinaios Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 This week, sadly, two music legends died. Chuck Berry, who arguably was the father of rock and roll, even before Elvis was cool. .... And, the second one was James Cotton
Blackhawk Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 RIP Chuck Berry and James Cotton. Both pioneers, Berry in rock & roll and Cotton in blues. Loved both their music throughout the years. 1
Tzatziki Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 Lucky man! How must will LA tix cost you on the floor? I'm guessing close to or just above my monthly rent...
Lazarus Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Here one of my favorites: Dan HIcks & the Hot Licks in 'I Scare Myself' - A live performance at San Francisco's Warfield Theater. Where, reunited with virtually every musician he had ever recorded with, Dan celerbrated his 60th birthday in style on December 9, 2001.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Florian Schneider, one of the founding fathers of Kraftwerk, died at the age of 73 from cancer. A big loss as he was an inspiration for many others in music. 1
Bananas Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 @Dutch Eagle this is hands down one of my favourite songs of all time. 1
