Tzatziki
Big day tomorrow! Siovas got hurt in training, Da Costa might have to replace him next to Botia.
RED SHERIFF
we are the underdogs in this tie... I doubt we can get thru......we have not been that good this season...and our team is not 'european prepared'....
PAOKSWEDEN
I think Oly will lose this one with 2-1 and then win at Karaiskaki with 2-0 and pass Edited February 18, 2016 by PAOKSWEDEN

Greeko
JVC! He is a hell of a lot better then who you have got coaching your team!
Greekoz
Pains me to say it but I think the tie is over, no away goal scored, anderlecht is bound to get one on the counter attack in the return leg, that means Oly will need to score 3 and that's simply not gonna happen IMO, hope I'm wrong. Original Sydney
Budgets didn't come into it when you beat Arsenal, most of you guys expected a win because you all said you had a good record against Belgian clubs. You should never under estimate your opponent, in saying that though I expect Oly to go through unless they cop an early goal in the 2nd leg, other than that cant see them being troubled. Bananas
The clubs budgets are for all intents and purposes similar. The truth is Anderlecht are worthy opponents and may very well go through to the next round of the EL. They are not some easy beat club. Should be an interesting game in Greece. Tzatziki
Tough loss today, Roberto really gifted them that goal. Other than that we played reasonably well just no killer instinct up front. When Ideye hit that post in the opening ten minutes I had a feeling this match would not go our way. Still a goal deficit is no big deal. Silva needs to find the right 11 to get the job done, the players got to be hungrier in the final third, possession does not win games, goals do. Original Sydney
And this loss also sent Greece to 13th spot in UEFA rankings, so 2017/18 will be even harder to qualify for CL....
Greeko
I'm confident oly will still go through! We have a good team, we're just a bit unlucky in this match! Budgets are important.....but we are a better side then they are!
Bananas
http://www.sport24.gr/Columns/Diamantopoulos/me-1-1-tha-htan-xeirotera.3915267.html Malista. Kai me 1-2 pali xirotera. 1-0 FT.. OLY had more of the play and better chances, but could not finish. Sounds like PAOK in the GSL most of the time. And this loss also sent Greece to 13th spot in UEFA rankings, so 2017/18 will be even harder to qualify for CL.... I wouldn't be surprised if we fall to 15th or 16th in the coming years. The power houses of Croatia and Romania are breathing down our necks. Who would've thunk it.

Original Sydney
Budgets are more important really? Is that why United lost to a nobody team who's only been around for 17 years, leave the excuses boys and give them credit for getting their job done at home but i do think you will go through so long as you don't concede first
Tzatziki
The budget debate is not about today's game, Oly's budget is actually greater. If you think budgets are irrelevant in pro sports I got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn. -_-
Tzatziki
It's a mix of both, money does not guarantee success, but look at the Champions League winners the last 20 years, how many of those clubs arent in the 100 million dollar club? Original Sydney
Pretty sure Reaper said "Anderlecht's budget is bigger than ours" so your theory of "budget wasn't for today's game" goes out the window.
Tzatziki
Must have missed that post, if that is the case I dont agree.
Tzatziki
1-0 Result I expected as Anderlecht has a bigger budget than us and are playing at home where they are unbeaten in 11 months. We played well, but that is football. Roberto cost us. Reaper never said that, stop the non sense dude....

Tzatziki
And we lost because their budget is 12 million better than ours? Common... this is foolish.
Original Sydney
Budgets play a slight part but to say its the reason you lost is pretty weak, so wait if you guys win next week will the word budget come up?
