So does that mean he misses the friendlies in March? He probably wouldn't be picked as we are trialling a few players.

after mitroglou, if we exclude karelis, there's literally none, so he should a lock in this team regardless of his form.

if you remember the last time we played without him in the squad, we had our worst game of the campaign (0-0 vs estonia)

In his return from injury, he came off the bench in the 78th min and after just 35 seconds he scored what ended up being the winner away at toulouse! 1-2 full time score

That was a timely goal and a great finish. Should buy him some more opportunity going forward.

great goal vs. a big team Lyon. mitro takes a bit of time to warm up but give him 20 games and he can start for most clubs barring like a bayern lol.

that payet assist to Mitro standing scissor kick was also a beautyyy

Game came down to the brink with Mitroglou drawing for Marseille in the 84th but Depay winning it for Lyon in the 90th. Mitroglou was also part of a controversial late offside decision, that was most likely onside and would have led to a clear breakaway with lots of field.

Started last Thursday in their Europa league quarter final away to Leipzig. Marseille lost 1-0 but had quiet a few chances to grab an away goal, including Mitro who had a clever flick well saved by the keeper.
2nd leg this week, hopefully Marseille can overturn the deficit and make the semis.

Last night he also got 30 mins off the bench as Marseille drew 0-0 with Montpellier

Another successful night for a Greek player in Europe, Marseille over turned the first leg result and beat Leipzig 5-2 in France making it through to the semis of the Europa League. Mitro got a full 90 and although he didn't score apparently had a hand in a few of the goals, also was responsible for one being disallowed.

Regardless great result for him and Marseille, would love to see him  playing in the Europa league final but they still have a couple of games before that can happen.

Other teams in the semis: Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Red bull Salzburg

2 goals for him overnight in a 5-1 drubbing of Lille. Played the full 90. More than likely he'll get the start midweek against Salzburg in the first leg of the semi

Is Kostas Mitroglou injured because he has been missing completely from Marseille’s squad in the last few matches? Hopefully he will play in the UEFA Europa League Final against Atletico Madrid.

He was supposed to be out for a couple of weeks, but not sure about his current status and if they find it necessary to reactivate him with a game or two left.

He almost scored in the final versus Atlético Madrid. He was subbed on late for Germain, and in the 80th minute his header struck the post. He should have been introduced much earlier IMO, given that they were down 1-0 after twenty minutes and Mitroglou was the single center forward in the whole SQUAD!

He won't be benched but he won't be first choice. Highly probable that either Mitroglou or Germain will be dealt before the end of August.

He was an unused sub in Marseille's seasoner opener, a 4-0 win against Toulouse.
At the same time, he's now being linked to Galatasaray

I see him being moved before the window closes unfortunately. I would prefer seeing him in a bigger league than Turkey though.

mitroglou scored a goal vs. psg to make it 1-1 but it was dissalowed over a bogus foul were a psg player basically ran into strootman and strootman was called for a foul

it came off of a payet free kick. then a shot and mitroglou snapped up the rebound
