^more chance of playing time and maybe he can show something that will attract clubs. he has been injured alot and for along time so not alot of interesting clubs are probably interested. udinese and granada already reached an agreement according to this article and it could be official soon.

Kone signed with A-League newcomers Western Melbourne FC on a two year deal. He was never Andrea Pirlo, but, for a couple of years, he was one of the better Greek players in Europe. His career really nosedived in his late 20s, and now, at only 31, he's gonna be playing in Australia.

Really nosedived... spend half season at AEK after his down fall at Fiorentina and did nothing following a decent season... just don’t get how such a talented and fit player can go to waste like this

The Comeback of a Famous Player

On October 13, Kone debuted for Western United in a 1-0 league win against Wellington Phoenix in Wellington, New Zealand. He played 90 minutes. (Alessandro Diamanti, Scott McDonald and Besart Berisha also play for Western Utd.) The last time he played for a club was on April 22, 2018 when he played for AEK Athens against Levadiakos in the Supa League.
