  1. oxi re djalma... have to hit the target there, just wide
  2. I'll be surprised if we keep a clean sheet today, they are stretching us and getting in behind far too easily
  3. Looking sloppy, they are pressing high and looking dangerous El Kaddouri looks like he's done a hamstring, Biserwar coming on. Could be a blessing
  4. Limnios twice with a poor touch, second time just then started a burst forward for panaitoliko but it was cut out. He needs to be better, no pressure on you, your touch needs to stick
  5. Great run by djalma beating 3 players, should have probably cut it from the tight angle he was on, took a shot and won a corner instead
  6. Azevedo on the bench after all. -----Pasxalakis----- Matos----Varela----Crespo----Vieirinha -------Canas-------Mauricio--- Limnios-----El Kaddouri------Djalma --------Prijo------ Would rather Mak instead of Limnios and Bisewar instead of El Kaddouri but that was never gonna happen
  7. Played his first match since August for Forrest coming off the bench in the 80th min to pull a goal back in their 2-1 to Hull in the 4th round of the FA Cup http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/England/FACup/notingham/h-gkolara-toy-adikhmenoy-vellioy.5050177.html
  8. It'll be good to see him in action. If he does indeed start, I'd assume Vieirinha would move onto the wing and start with Djalma playing on the opposite side.
  9. Cimirot is on his way to Standard Liege according to paok24. If it's true it could explain the interest in Caktas, since Lucescu doesn't seem to rate Shakhov and to a lesser extent Canas as starters. Personally I think it's the wrong move, we are in the title race, makes no sense to sell a starter especially for an amount (2.5mil) that's not exactly breaking the bank http://www.paok24.com/podosfairo/110258/tsimirot-gia-stantar-liegis
  10. We are being linked to Caktas (great name) Croatian midfielder who's become a free agent from Rubin Kazan. Perhaps that explains Michel's trip? http://www.contra.gr/Columns/to-evaggelio/o-paok-paei-na-kanei-to-mpam-me-ton-tsaktas.5044358.html
  11. 2 games under Dellas and Panaitolikos has beaten Atromitos and drawn with panionios some very solid results. This could be tricky. Coupled with our away form not being the most convincing, Xanthi probably our best performance. We beat Platanias with a scrappy goal and Kerkyra with half their team missing we put in a lacklustre showing and won 3-0. So need to bring our best to beat a team who is riding the high of having a new coach. Put in a performance we are capable of and it should be another 3 points
  12. Prijo with a goal and assist, surely Lucescu can't drop him
  13. never seen a yellow given for that, ridiculous only in greece @pash commentator seems to think it was for time waisting, but the ref came over and pointed to his whistle, i assume saying i hadn't blown my whistle for you take the free kick.
  14. great play djalma/pelkas, would have been a very nice goal
  15. Great first half! Much more lively performance than last week. Need to go on, grab a 3rd and completely shut the door on them
  16. You'd like to think we'd take advantage tonight and move a few points clear of them.
  17. Gomes had a back spasm apparently. Watford lost 2-0, one of the goals was a penalty conceded by a watford defender. he might be a little disappointed with the 2nd goal he copped. mahrez was on a tight angle and still managed to slot it past him, it was a pretty good finish though. Apart from that he looked okay, made a few routine saves. Unfortunately for him he'll be back on the bench as soon as Gomes is fit again
  18. He is still at PAOK on loan, but I'm not sure if he's around or training? I think it would take a major injury crisis for Lucescu to back track on his decision.
  19. Agree 7 mil is a very good price for him, if it's true I'd sell him.
  20. Yet another twist in this Moldeo saga. Olympiakos is trying to hijack the deal offering just under 500k and Taso Karamanos. Apparently this offer came into PAO around 48 hours ago, and perhaps is contributing to the delay. I'm with most of you guys, I'm over it at this point. Like i've said we have other positions that need covering. We've coped 7 goals in 17 league games. Our centre backs are fine http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/Hellas/Superleague/panathinaikos/protash-sfhna-olympiakou-gia-moledo.5033382.html
  21. we put all our eggs in the Baghdatis basket for another year! Won his 1st round match in straight sets against a qualifier. He plays his 2nd round match tomorrow against the 30th seed Rublev Will be interesting to watch Tsitsipas this year, great achievement for him being the top 100 at just 19. Still very raw and young but hopefully he can have a good year and move his way up the rankings.
  22. Mavropanos played for the Arsenal under 23's in a 4-0 win vs Manchester United. He reportedly played well and there is a few little snippets in this article from his game. http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/England/Premiership/arsenal/o-mayropanos-ekane-ntempouto-kai-h-arsenal-erikse-tessara.5031277.html
  23. As per the Kerkyra game, if we are half serious about achieving something this season then this should be another comfortable win. Hopefully with an improved performance compared to what we saw on the weekend. But let's not get greedy, I'll take another 3-0 win and a passive performance.
  24. I agree about Djalma @Yiankos He's quick and he's very good at shielding the ball and bodying his way past defenders. We should be holding onto him onto the end of the season and even then I'm not opposed to keeping him
