He may have been promising at one time, but Samaris has regressed. He's not young anymore and hasn't featured for a club in years.

I would put Baldock over Masouras as he was playing at a higher level, Fortounis over Fefta. I would add Giakoumakis to the bench.

Great podcast - agree with most of what they say.

After this game, I want to see how JVS lines us up against Spain. Will we play scared or actually try to attack? In many ways, it's an audition for the next tourney. If the type of play we saw is what we should expect or was it an anomaly.

That's how we used to play, win off one mistake...

At least we know we are capable of playing like that, why we don't is beyond me..

stopped watching - they were playing so well, that last goal was a long ball that went through

2-0 - wow

so heart breaking - insane

1-0 sweden

dominated the entire game, than this

penalty

I rather it be us playing like this than the other way around..

When was the last time anyone said that about Greece??

I don't ever remember seeing the opposing goalie so frustrated...

We have played great, playing fast, one touch passing...Sweden actually trying to slow it down to get a breath.

post again!!

if we can only score..

He seems to be free alot today..

Not sure if Tsimikas/Mavro/Hatzi at the back is the best idea but one thing is that all three are fast and can dribble...

Masouras had been playing well for both Greece and OLY...seems like a different player these last few weeks.

I don't remember a Greek team so fast, we have been closing down spaces quickly and breaking even quicker...

The game has slowed down - 50/50 now

Impressed that every time we lose the ball, we get it right back...

Playing well, can hear the Greek fans..
