On the bench for PAOK: Brkic, Crespo, Biseswar, Mystakidis, Shakhov, Kitsiou, Thiam Leaft out and not even on the bench is Pereyra.
-
PAOK lineup: ------------------- Glykos ------------------Matos -- Varela -- Tzavellas -- Leovac---------- Canas ------- Cimirot ---------- -- Campos --- Pelkas --- Rodrigues ------------------- Klaus ------------------- Quite surprised that Pelkas gets a start.

Gate 8 is closed to PAOK fans, as it will be used by around 80 Fiorentina fans. Hopefully the rest of the gates are sold out. radio reports say there is a lot of traffic around Toumba.

Considering the fact that he is not 100% fit to play a full game I think he will keep him on the bench and use him as a sub, keeping him fresh for Monday's game against Tripoli. That is a must win game.
-
Missing from the squad is Charisis, Korovesis, Malezas and Koulouris among others. My lineup for the game. ------------------- Glykos ------------------ Matos -- Varela -- Tzavellas -- Leovac ---------- Canas ------- Cimirot ---------- -- Campos --- Shakhov --- Rodrigues ------------------- Klaus ------------------- My prediction: 1:1

That's good news. Toumba should be full for this one.
-
Well allegedly he was close to moving to Germany this past transfer season. Either that, or those were just rumors spread by Paul Koutsioliakos in order to secure a better contract and sent Chatziisaia packing. He's been good lately, but I still consider him a liability with his behavior on the pitch.
-
PAE PAOK and Tzavellas renewed their contract until 2020. He will be paid € 2,000,000. Being a buddy with owner's son sure has its privileges.
-
In any normal country, the league would kick out Kougias from its ranks.

Thanks for the nice words, which are appreciated. Yeah it looks like the Laola option from last season has been put on hold by PAE PAOK. Not sure what kind of streaming or broadcast options they are looking at. Broadcast wise they only viable option in North America and Australia would be the Sport Plus/Antenna setup, but PAE PAOK does not want to be part of that. What gets me mad is that they did not have something in place before the season started. Why does everything have to be done half-ass backwards. Hope they get this issue resolved soon. Next home Superleague game is only 2 weeks away.

Both games re-scheduled for Wednesday.

Sorry guys for trying to inform people. If you don't like it, I'll gladly devote my time to other things.

They are jumping from joy:

The major issue I have with this is that they don't show PAOK home games. No way I'll spend money watching Platanias playing Levadeiakos.

Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage

Forgot to mention that they have a free preview until September 19. -
Well we are upon a new Superleague season, and for the PAOK fans there is still not a reliable service to watch the PAOK games. At least not the home games. Last season PAE PAOK let Laola1.TV stream the games live, but it appears that this will not be the case this season. I inquired about this with PAE PAOK and got the following reply: So it appears that they are working on setting up some kind of long term service. If you ask me, this service should already have been in place, way ahead before the season starts. In the meantime Novasport has introduced a new Superleague streaming service for fans outside of Greece. All Superleague games will be streamed live, and all will also be available via Video On Demand one day after the game. This service does not include the home games of PAOK. This service is available in the following regions: EUROPE (except in Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, FYROM, Greece and Cuprus) ASIA (except in Israel) AFRICA This service IS NOT available in North America and Oceania!!!! The cost is as follows: Annual Superleague Pass: Introductory price: €80.00 (regular price €135.00) Weekly Superleague Pass: Introductory price: €6.99 (regular price €11.99) There is a free preview until September 19. More info here: https://online.novasports.gr/

That's the result of our mangies in the cup game against Olympiakos.
-
There are several red flags in my opinion. - signing Djebbour to a 3-year contract, when he is allready 33 years old - the size of the contract (600 - 700K per season), when the team operating budget for this season is around 3 mil and without any substantial income from participating in Football league - the fact that the team majority shareholder can't sustain operating his other business ventures (Marinopoulos) without loss - Djebbour's past on Greek teams. Everywhere he went, he created problems I'd be surprised if Djebbour last the full 3 seasons at Aris.

Veroia is in danger of being kicked out of Superleague after failing to receive a license, since the transfer of shares from Karypidis to the new owner can't be verified. Karypidis had to get rid of his Veroia shares after taking over Aris.
