Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage
Blackhawk replied to Blackhawk's topic in TV, Radio, Video, Gaming & Media
Superleague has released the game schedule until Round 15. Here is the projected television schedule on my TV Schedule page. http://home.earthlink.net/~paokfc/GreekSoccerTVSchedules.htm The above link will be valid for a day or two. After that my TV schedules page will no longer be available. -
The health authorities in Liberec lifted the quarantine. The game will most likely be played as scheduled. UEFA official is in Liberec and will make the final decision. Taking into account that the quarantine has been lifted, and both Slovan and PAOK want the game to be played, I don't see any reason for the game to be postponed. Reading some of the Czech sites, of the 12 afflicted players, only 3 of them have not practiced as of today.

I think our biggest problem is against teams that park the bus. We need a player(s) that will unlock this defensive posture. Hopefully we can get such a player in January, since we did not get him this transfer period.

Agreed. Missed opportunity, but it would be quite different story if everyone else won and we found ourselves 6 points behind (instead of the current 2 or 3 points). I have a feeling the big guys will be dropping more points as we go. And from what I have seen so far there is hardly any difference between them. I would even say PAOK is in a slightly better shape than Olympiakos and AEK and on par with Panathinaikos. I think this will be an exciting season.
-
Still not as catastrophic result as it could have been. We did not lose any ground on our main opposition, and actually gained ground on Olympiakos. The season is still young. No reason to start bitching and complaining, which is the norm by a lot of PAOK fans. I foresee this to be quite an exciting season.

Slovan Liberec players are still under quarantine by the local health officials. Twelve players are currently afflicted with the virus, but team officials are saying they are getting better. Today the health officials tested the players again and will have test results by tomorrow. They will then decide if the quarantine will continue or if they will give them the green light to return to practices. In either case UEFA is awaiting the results to see if they will postpone the game. Both Slovan Liberec management and UEFA would prefer for the game to take place as scheduled.

0:0 final score. Can't drop points in games like this.
-
Our midfield is non-existent. We can't create anything against the parked bus.
-
Klaus in for Koulouris. Useless sub. That's not where the problem is.
-
Don't see this ending well.

Apparently they got sick after playing Qarabag in Azerbaijan in their first game of the group stage of EL. That's what you get when you allow countries that don't belong in Europe to compete in European competitions. The Liberec players were quarantined until Monday by the local health officials. Their case will be reviewed again on Monday and a decision will be made if the quarantine will continue. From what I read on their web site, the team officials will make every effort for the Europa League game to take place. The health officials forced the team to stop practices and cancelled their league game against Karvina.

Should have never been a penalty.
-
2:1 final score. Should have never become another cliffhanger. Specially when they were playing a man down.
-
We are missing chances left and right. Hope we don't pay for it in the end.
-
Mystakidis in for Rodrigues, who just a minute ago hit the cross bar.
-
Ivic needs to make some changes. Aretopoulos is clearly trying to put Tripoli back in the game.
-
Unbelieveable penalty for Tripoli and 2:1. We need to become serious as a team. Always manage to make the games a derby.
-
That should have been a straight red card, and not just a second yellow on Bertos. The ref did not even call a foul initially. Asteras playing with 10.
