It wasn't really fine, but for Greek standards compared to other stadiums it was ok. That should not be the standard for the pitch where the national team plays though. I watched the Apollon - PAOK game just 3 days before the Cyprus friendly at the same stadium and you could tell the players had issues with the pitch.

The unknown COVID victim from last week appears to be Lyratzis, so we have COVID victims so far this season: Stoch Warda Limnios Wague Jaba Vierinha Lyratzis Giannoulis
-
The move from Karaiskaki was made because fans attending the NT games were harassed by Olympiakos hardcore fans and because the Olympiakos front office became hostile towards the newly elected EPO board. There is nothing wrong with Toumba pitch. It has been completely replaced several moths ago and is in perfect condition as was evident in recent European games. There is really no reason why the game could not have been played there, but as with everything in Greece it has to do with politics.

Giannoulis came out and announced that he is the player with the COVID infection. COVID victims so far this season: Stoch Warda Limnios Wague Jaba Vierinha ? (yesterday's victim) Giannoulis

Yet another COVID 19 positive infection on the PAOK roster announced today. Not specified if it was a player or a member of the team staff.

Tsiggaras and Koutsias played in the Greece - Czech Republic (0:2) disaster. Koutsias started the game and was subbed in the second half. Tsiggaras started on the bench and played in the second half.

They dominated the whole game. Greece was very bad.

Olympiakos will not allow the national team to play at Karaiskaki. The game was schedule at OAKA but the pitch is in horrible condition, so the game was moved to Toumba which currently has the best pitch in Greece. However the government will not allow the game to be played there. So we end up playing on a bad pitch at Rizoupoli. Hopefully this will not cost us.

What a pathetic display of football by the Greek U21 team. have not created a single scoring chance in a game that we play on home turf. 0:2 the final score.

Following Jaba's confirmation that he was infected with the virus here is the updated COVID watch among PAOK players: Stoch Warda Limnios Wague Jaba Vierinha ? (yesterday's victim)

Trying to answer the critics after his latest injury, Jaba confirmed that he was the player that had COVID couple weeks ago:
-
Jaba did not take part in practice today complaining about his knee. Wonder if it is the real reason for his absence.
