PAE PAOK has released the new striped jerseys for this season. Very disappointing design. I don't like them at all. Not buying one.

Ivan Savvidis has decided that the PAOK - Besiktas game will be televised in Greece on OPEN Beyond TV and not PAOK TV as was initially scheduled.

Miroslav Stoch and PAE PAOK have mutually ended their contract. He is now history and he will most likely go back to Slavia Prague. He had 2 years left on his contract with PAOK. Financial details were not released.

As far as I know Besiktas does not have any scheduled. In their case I am even more surprised since they are signing all these new players that never played together before.

It was reported today that PAOK got an offer from Spain for Paschalakis. Not sure if I would sell him prior to the Besiktas game.

Friendly game against PAOK U19 was played today. The seniors won the game, but the result was not announced. There are video highlights on PAOK TV. Apparently Biseswar scored 2 goals and Wernbloom, El Kaddouri and Schwab scoring as well. Remains to be seen if we play another friendly prior to the game with Besiktas.

It's official. Ninua signed with PAOK for 4 years. If we are going to loan him out it will be in December or next season after seeing what he can do.

I wonder if a VPN will be the solution for us to watch it on PAOK TV.

Apparently since it is a single game, UEFA has ruled that the home team can only sell the TV rights domestically and the visiting team has the international rights to the rest of the world. This means that PAOK TV (if they will carry the game) can only show it in Greece and Besiktas can sell the rights to anybody else.

That's not confirmed 100% yet, but it would be great if it was on PAOK TV. If it ends up on PAOK TV, then PAOK should not sell the rights to any other country. Let everybody pay PAOK TV to see the game. We could make some good money just from subscriptions sold to Turkish fans. For this to work though they would need to keep the hacked and pirated streams to a minimum.

Overall the performances were lower than in past years. COVID19 is one major reason as some athletes took the season off. Sadly we don't have the negotiating leverage that Olympiakos had with Tsimikas. I would rate Giannoulis and Tsimikas about same but we are going to be forced to sell him at half the price that Olympiakos allegedly sold Tsimikas.

Four weeks ago the Thessaloniki sports media (ie. sleazy scumbags that would sell their own mother) bought Misic from Sporting supposedly for 1 mil now and 1 mil later if he becomes healthy again. The game has been scheduled by UEFA for August 25, 2020 at 21:00 EEST at Toumba Stadium.

We can't play any games at Toumba as the pitch is being replaced.

Rumor is that the PAOK - Besiktas will take place on August 26 at 22:00 EEST. Also it's almost certain that it will be televised on PAOK TV.
