We need to improve in the second half. Specially on defense. They are getting way too many headers. Also, we need to cut down on the defensive mistakes where we give them possession. We need a second goal. Sitting back will backfire.
-
So close Koulierakis
-
Now we got to play smart.
-
What the hell was that Kotarski?
-
Starting lineup:
-
Akpom in the end ended up at Ajax for 14.3 mil Euro. PAOK gets 10% of that.
-
I see Lyratzis made the squad.
-
I knew of Ivan Savvidis at least 10 years before he was first linked to PAOK in 2006. Since 1995 he was the president of Greek Communities in Russia and represented those communities at the World Council of Hellenes Abroad, which had an advisory role to the Greek parliament. So he was known even in Greece since 1995. Perhaps that fact did not reach Australia yet. He made his billions way before he got involved with PAOK. The majority of his business holdings are in Russia and other countries as opposed to Greece, so most of his money was made outside of Greece.

Ingasson was replaced by Ekong. Augusto will be eventually be replaced by Maximovic or someone else if Maximovic does not come, so no big loss there. Milan is offering 5 mil for Koulierakis. We are asking for 10. I think if the teams can agree on 8 mil he will be sold sooner than later. @ Athens4, I expect one more sale and it will probably happen even if we make the group stage.

For 1.5 mil we can get a very good midfielder. Spending that much money on the Greek version of Vitolo is a waste.

Maybe for free as a backup, but definitively not for the 1.5 mil purchase price. He's just not that good. Also, hope the rumors of Limnios are just that, rumors.
-
Don't you know PAOKSYD is the lead accountant for PAE PAOK?
-
They were good for a 'B' team playing in Superleague 2. They will now get their chance to show if they can perform in a top level (for Greek standards) competitions. I predict not. Specially Oudraogo.
-
We face serious consequences if we use lasers, fire crackers, flares, and throw objects on the field. Not only monetary fines, but also closure of Toumba for upcoming games. Considering that at a minimum there will be some use of lasers and flares, I expect that our next European game will be behind closed doors.
-
Agreed, but that player should not be Siopis.
-
So you base your comment on something posted on Facebook. Ok so there was 31 mil income in the last 3 year from sale of players, etc. Can you also tell me what were the expenses for the same 3 year period?
-
Bradonjic loaned to Ethnikos Achnas for 1 year. Oudraogo signed with Panserraikos.
-
Chuba Akpom is in the process of being sold to Lans from Middleborough for reported 11 mil Euro. Considering we have 10% resale option, we should be getting 1.1 mil Euro.

We just need to find a way to score. Not easy for PAOK.
-
We'll need to improve in 2nd half if we want to get anything out of this game. Our biggest weakness is midfield and Kedziora on the right. Livaja constant danger for our defense.
