First medal (bronze) for Greece from Theodoros Tselidis in the 90 kg Judo competition.

I was just listening to a random Thessaloniki sports station and they had their reporter in Banja Luka who said that the only change in PAOK's lineup compared to the first game will be Otto in place of Sastre. I do believe that Lucescu is sometimes very stubborn, but I don't believe he is so stupid as not to change the midfield and also not start Konstantelias instead of Murg.

I don't see any changes this season. It will probably be the same setup as last season. As far as I know the deal between COSMOTE and Novasport was for Greece only. The international streaming service Net TV Plus that showed some games last season is owned by Novasport and was only able to show the games that Novasport had rights to. I don't see that changing for this season. As for the regular (non-streaming) international TV rights we will probably see the same arrangement as previous seasons. Antenna Satellite/Pacific and Sport Plus will split the games among themselves. I don't see any significant changes happening until 2025-26 season, when apparently the Superleague will attempt to set up a collective agreement concerning the TV rights.

At the last minute Novasport managed to get the rights to televise the game in Greece and Cyprus. Also bunch of Serbian/Croatian/fakeMacedonian/Bosnian TV channels will show the game. Not sure if it will happen tomorrow but the last two Borac European games were streamed for free on youtube live.

Chalov is apparently done deal negotiated by Ivan Savvidis himself. Surprised though that he did not travel with Ivan in his private jet to Thessaloniki on Friday. Chalov will probably just come during the week and sign a contract with Savvidis at his Halkidiki resort.
-
Yeah, I followed the game. However they will be knocked out in the next round as they will face FC Copenhagen.
-
Well she was dropped from the Olympic team and did not travel to Paris. She claims she is innocent (they always do). She'll probably get 4 year ban. I don't see her racing again.

We have reached a deal with Tarik Tissudali and KAA Gent. He is expected in Thessaloniki to undergo a physical and sign a 2+1 year deal with a 1.4 mil salary per season. We also paid 2.2 mil to KAA Gent for his rights. Apparently it was his countryman El Kaddouri that convinced him to come to PAOK after he talked to the PAOK ex-player.

Very poor showing by PAOK. With a display like that we stand no chance against Malmo. That's assuming we can get at least a tie next week in Banja Luka and qualify. All our goals came from our defensemen and mostly from set pieces. Our midfield and offense was lost out there.
-
If I was Lucescu, the changes at half-time should be Kedziora in for Ekong, Zivkovic in for Despodov, Konstantelias in for Murg. Big mistake was starting Ozdoev together with Schwab making our midfield non-existant.

WTF is that? Don't believe we let this team score twice. Better wake up for the second half.

Koulierakis again

PAOK in Europe 2024-2025 (News, Draws, Rankings)
Blackhawk replied to Dutch Eagle's topic in PAOK FC
So PAOK - Malmo it is then. Hopefully we will show up and play tomorrow. -
It's actually 100 athletes that will take part, since Filtisakou has been dropped from the Olympic team. even though it was not officially announced yet, it is obvious that she is the one that tested positive for the banned substance.

Apparently PAOK has received two different offers from Uruguay for the purchase of Quagliata. Hopefully they won't think twice about it at PAE PAOK.

PAOK in Europe 2024-2025 (News, Draws, Rankings)
Blackhawk replied to Dutch Eagle's topic in PAOK FC
Not a bad draw, but we could have gotten Jagellonia, which would have been better. The only thing that worries me is that Malmo is in the middle of their season with 16 game under their belt. I don't think we will have any major problems with them, but then again we thought the same about Ostersunds. -
