good to see he is following in the footsteps of the great 'greek football owners'

kalamaria........we are still stuck in 2008 here... i am waiting for others to reopen the reasons behind Italian refs being hired to officiate the pao-oly match in 1929
-
He was not on the bench...all game..he came on... the rest of your post is??? ridiculous to say the least??? So when was the last illegible player to play in SL?? This is just another 'kafeneio; statement just to divert a debate... astonishing at best that a group of people who are screaming 'for justice' are open to the most basic of laws and rules to be broken....
-
Tsipra an co were recently described as B grade actors.......if hats the type of politicians Greece needs in a time of crisis then we are in strife... I said it last year.....the problem is that SYRIZA has a deep ideology that will not allow growth and encourage investment...therefore no jobs EVER
-
we cant compromise promotion/relegation on merit... that will back fire in the long term... 16 teams...30 rounds is the right number for Greece... remember the cup now has a mini league component (and two legs in the latter stages)...so we have enough matches in the season...
-
the year PAO spent big they won the double... the year we dropped the ball we finished 5th.... the Pontians played an illegible player... these facts are not voodoo

SL-R34: Panionios - PAOK FC (10-May-15, 19:00 GR)

not sure if it takes a years... 2012 was built in 18 months Mirallas, Mellberg, Makoun, Orbaiz Djebbour...etc.. last season was essentially built overnight Salino, Samaris, Dominguez, Weiss, N'Dinga, Roberto, Siovas, Marcano, Campbell. Olaitan -
no... the Pontians played an illegible player....end of argument....there are no victims and villains...the rest is immaterial. The player having a baring on the result is the most nonsensical response I have read on this issue in the last 7 years...the fact that he was illegible kills all other questions.. In no other country in the world would this be an issue...its a given in world football...
-
are you saying the Pontians played him on purpose??? and they knew they were going to win the match? in any other league this would be a simple open and shut case....illegible player... PAOK lost a CL qualifier in similar situation.....A Polish club this season or last? beat Celtic 5-0 and had the result reversed to 0-3...ended up costing them millions? following the money trail??is that your new catch cry? Sounds like PR campaign from KKE??

I agree...... however Our best team though was 2012..... We cant take credit away from Dnipro...they have now proven their worth...Although...I do agree that even though they are 90 mins away from a Euro final...you would back a strong Olympiakos to eliminate them over two legs...ironic?? -
AEK were not robbed in 2008...The Pontians played an illegible player... Why cant we wait for the courts to decide on the Veria match?
-
its not a matter of being angry at 'syriza'.......'Syriza' are just an acronym for the far left that has 'controlled' Greek collective consciousness for 6 decades......they are KKE in drag.... these guys have a 'freedom fighter' perception regarding N17 and the likes of Xiros.... Very difficult to run a country 'progressively'... when the 'collective ideology' is dreaming up of other conflicting ideologies... PASOK/ND are 'left' by Modern Western standards they had to play the game just to stay in power.. the likes of Samaras,Papandreou junior, Karamanlis, junior, Bakoyianni, Venizelos are highly intelligent and worldly people...they know exactly what Greece needs but are powerless to implement... ANY COMPARISON TO ICELAND IS BEYOND ABSURD... A bit like the nonsense of if we leave the Euro and return to the drachma we will be flooded by tourists to save the day...As if greece is Fiji or Bali?
-
not to mention the fact that as bad as PASOK/ND were....Syriza/KKE supporters ran the country defacto all those years...by stymieing any progressive reforms and fueling riots that destroyed cities and brainwashed a public looking for quick fix.
-
'it has been said'... sound very conclusive......

Dnipro are in the Europa League Semis...hardly at Asteras level>> But hey? the facts don't really matter on these threads.... we have only beaten...Arsenal x 3, Juve, Benfica, Anderlecht x2, Marseille, Rubin x2, Dortmund, Atl.Madrid in the last few years...but hey...who cares??? -

will ert world come back? -
KKE would be banned in any civilised country..or at least laughed out of existence..only in Greece they are still relevant because we are carrying 70 years of 'baggage'... KKE would create zero jobs and shut the country down..

you referring to Dnipro? -
ok.... Given where PAOK needs players..Other than Spiranovic I can't think of too many A League players that would fit in.... Remember Barbarouses was very average at PAO....And Franjic played 4 matches all season for the bottom Russian team... the free flowing summer A League is a different world to the grind of European football..

Their salaries is an issue...... although......both Maartens and Manduro seem to have an attitude issue.....maybe a new coach can fix this...?? Lucas is a walk up start...PAOK needs as much quality as they can get.... the danger is that with Salpi on his way out/down...Klaus loss of form, you are looking at an entire rebuild.... very little quality to go the next level.......

perhaps a Santos or markarian may have laid better match day strategy to win these "un losable" matches... -

yes..... but I don't see anything in the spending of the smaller clubs to suggest they are making money beyond their means.... they spend very little on players...zero or close to it on transfers...and little on infrastructure, So it's safe to assume that these smaller clubs are running on a shoe string budget justified by the small amounts they earn from TV rights, gate takings, sponsorships and from the owner chipping in...I'd be worried if we saw Turkish or Ukrainian type of spending..

Petsos has had a poor year......Giannoulis is a very average footballer...
