Avraam..is an ex footballer compared to the rest.. regarding formations...We can argue all night 3-4-3 or whatever...essentially in modern football all formations morph into a variation of 4-5-1 anyway you dice it..

Avraam....Plays in the A League... We have CD who play in La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and top Greek clubs.. any thought of avraam is beyond outrageous.. K.Pap Siovas Sokratis Manolas Retsos Risvanis Koutroubis Oikonomou do I need to go on.....not a 33yo Brisbane Roar CD... Samaris and Taxi are walks ups in the 11...

K.Pap in midfield will not happen...not sure what Oikonomou offers in any capacity. that 11 has 6 defenders...

but the question is will Androutsos, Manthiatis and Siopis play much meaningful club football this season..? If not then a WC call up may not be justified.

Early indications from Olympiakos are that both Manthiatis and Androutsos are struggling to get game time this year.. we have no idea where Giannotas will play this season...and any squad with Tziolis and Vellios is showing signs of how bad off we are.. Siopis and Pelkas will also struggle to get game time at Paok and osfp..

as long as our teams are collecting points...Austria, Denmark, Israel, Romania, Croatia don't worry me...because in essence you cant worry about who is behind you, if you do what needs to be done... In fact I'd say the way the points table is currently we have a good chance of over taking Swiss and Czechs by end of season..

Vellios is just slow and a poor finisher... Giannotas is a natural winger....but you are right Mandalos is a better footballer. A lot will be determined by where Giannotas plays next season.

I would say Vellios and Diamantakos need to prove themselves at club level before they deserve a call up let alone 7 games.. To me they are so far away from what I see as International players it's not funny.. In my opinion as strikers we have Mitro Donis Karelis *(when fit) That is it!!! I would put Vellios and Diamantakos behind Klaus...today..

Each player needs to be looked at individually.. Lykogiannis has had one good season..next season will be a big one for him... Also he is up against Tzavellas and Staf at left back.. Kourbelis,Vellios, Diamantakos and Pelkas are simply not good enough. Karelis got injured just when he was about to take the next step... Giannotas needs to play in a better league regularly to develop or at least for us to see his true capabilities.. Bouchalakis just has not played.... Koutris again is a left back..maybe 5th in line...also needs to play regularly for a big club.. Bakasetas had a poor season at AEK.. Mavrias is in same category as Giannotas..(does he even have a club?)

karelis and Donis are our next striking options after Mitro.... They have big seasons coming up... Vellios and Diamantakos are not up to it..Limnios has hardly played... When I look at the future , I don''t like to look too far ahead.... try picking our best team with players 26 and under...that gives you an indication as to depth.... ...................................Kapino.................... The point it's not about finding the uncapped 18 yo next star..but having a young enough squad to take on the next Euro qualifiers or next WC qualifiers minus players who are approaching 30...

I think it's nearly impossible for us to be seeded in the play offs... Spain/Italy/Portugal we have ZERO chance..... Swiss/Swedes will be tough but within our grasp......the rest are 50/50...

a front 3 of karelis-Mitro-Donis would be going against the grain.....of modern football.. as they all essentially strikers.....Karelis has struggled out wide...Greece has been caught out before by playing CF...Outwide....Samaras, Salpi,Haristeas, etc..

Manthatis needs some regular club time.....before we can see what he can do... Remember Donis played for a very good Nice side this season.. I am still not sure where Kolovos best position is? Don;t think he is a classic LW. Pelkas is not a certain starter at PAOK... I think we play our best players in the 11...Mandalos and Fortounis would be in our best 11 more often than not today..

Fortounis is a better no.10 than Mandalos.....Unfortunately for Mandalos that is the reality......so if only one can fit in the 11..it has to be Fortounis for now.

I'd go Taxi ahead of Samaris ...and Fortounis ahead of Mandalos
