anyone in Australia have ZAAP?? How does it work? do you get Antenna? how many football channels? can you record from it??
-
did he play well last night?

the punishment for no show is stipulated in the EPO constitution... no need for legal proceedings and hearings...
-
yet.....we live in a country comfortably that has been lead by Abbott, Turnbull, Rudd, Howard, etc..... but we want Greece to be lead by Che Guevara.,.... but admit comrade Tsipra has failed.... Greece got it wrong in the 1980s......and has been lead down the garden path by the rock throwers.... I am not a fan of the privileged elite...far from it.... but you will never get paid by a poor man.... I also find it ironic that the 'greeks' who are not fans of the 'corporate elite' ....have a twinkle in their eye when thinking about how Greece should be aligned to (or at least admire) Uncle Vladimir.....it's almost a case of accepting corruption and elitism as long as its a form that suits our 'kafeneio version of what good Hellenes should aspire to'..
-
yes...they are scared to because they know....the country is controlled by rock throwing agitators...
-
and where will he go? and play with who?
-
the point is if we scrap the debt... and then leave the euro...we will eventually fall back to our dark old methods of the 1980s... the theory of going it alone to prosper would make sense if we had people and plans and the WILL.... Otherwise we will end up like fyrom Serbia Albania etc.... they are not in the euro-zone...why are they not prospering?

DOUBLE POST
-
its a bit naive to think if we default /devalue we will be able to attract investors.... we do not have the right socio politica/ legal framework to nurture investment... the 'lao' who elected the rock throwing protestor as PM will never allow the right structure for investment and growth.... these restructures and reforms fly in the face of what the 'greek' views as 'democracy'.... our only hope for reform and progress was under the umbrella of a western philosophy .... I have always said if we transplanted the EPL into Greece...(stadia, players, budgets, marketing) within 5 years we will have a product again similar to todays GSL...
-
Greeks were complicit in a dysfunctional system... the problem in Greece is the socio political landscape....and the people demand from the politicians exactly what they have asked for... who has allowed the legal system to survive? who has allowed the Tax dept. not to set targets on tax collectors and managers? they are always looking for generous benefits and pointing the finger at others...there is no will for reform.. not sure what gangs in Sydney or pedophiles have to do with the Greek debt crisis? we need to be careful of diverting away from our shortcomings... asking why did they let us in? why did they lend us money? etc.. none of these questions explain why we have no industry? why we do not have a system that supports investment? why do we elect a Prime minister who was throwing rocks at G8 summit?? these are the politicians we want...because they feed our kafeneio dribble..

all i know is our next WC qualifier is in 4 months..... and Toro is a better option than any of the others..... he is younger than Kats/Kara/etc were at WC 2014...
-
yep Manolara.. you are right...Greece needs to start a socialist revolution...and destroy the capitalist system.... more strikes..more anti west protests..more university sit ins...more 10 year degrees in nothing...more businesses closed down due to inflexible unions.. all this justified because we fought the Nazis...and Mussolini the 'rest of them' play by the rules..we do not want to.. we can default and print worthless new drachma......then what? will it be easier to set up a business and hire staff? NEVER... Just keep blaming us in the diaspora...because we simply just do not get it......

victory has some good fans..but a hardcore of F*** wits.....and also some older dangerous wankers... i am older.....and i clearly recall victory's agenda in their formation days was a clear vision to attack hellas on its ethnic roots...this was one way they gained a lot of support.... in my mind very offensive and racist...a form of 'apartheid' in their entire marketing strategy.....so for me...they are the ultimate enemy.....F*** them... -
I have never denied Aris fans numbers nor commitment... and yes..its very ironic that a third division Greek club has more supporters attending home matches than the majority of European clubs playing in Europa League... however my concerns are that if the right leadership and financial set up is not in place...we will be back in the same position in 3-5 years..
-
we need to keep this core in the 11... then find the right players and scheme to compliment them... karnezis, toro, holebas, sokratis, manolas, fortounis, mitro, samaris... there are 3 spots up for grabs....and a lot of thinking for Skibbe in regards to systems of play and formations... form and attitude as well as 'fit' are the key drivers for the other 3 spots and the 7-10 bench/squad spots..
-
phenomenal goal scorer at club level... let's not forget he went from top scorer of a decent Greek league to topping Bundesliga top scorer in the following year..

1) were the police there? 2) has any action to report these thugs started? 3) what will FFA? FFV do? 4) where is Lefkaditis to tell us how feral and 'uncivilized' etc we are for not supporting aussie soccer and to be stuck in the old world? -
the questions now are: 1) how is the financial situation? 2) will they be able to mount a challenge for promotion next season? 3) will they then be financially able to sustain GSL demands if they get promoted? 4) do they have leadership that is capable of maintaining a squad and finances capable of GSL if they get promoted?
-
Matzourakis - Tsiolis - Paraschos - Tennes - Karageorgiou these guys seem to do the eternal rounds....
-
yes, they improved dramatically.....however they did not finish high enough to warrant a european spot....which I think would have been their aim..
-
infighting at PAOK does not help the cause....Nor does Ivan's lack of football nous...similar with alafouzos these guys need to hire capable people to run all football matters ... AEK had a tremendous first year back... Tripolis and Atromitos went backwards...they will both bounce back as they now know they need to if they want Europe..
-
Bruno played 17 games for PAO and 17 games for Sampdoria and did not score... he looked awfully slow and could not beat a defender...

@manolara... all the anti fascist/italo nazi commie ...greek freedom fighter is very 'patriotic'.... we have all discussed on many occasions why ;its the greeks own fault'...
