I'd actually throw in Jairo instead of Campos. Jairo is not one for consistency, but he can have games where he just absolutely tears up the flank. I could see him destroying Tbilisi, and it'll let Campos have a rest. Campos looked very flat last match.

Not sure why everyone has preordained the demise of Olympiakos. Do they seem weaker than last year and previous seasons ? Yes. But they've had a "bad run" of 3 games now. AEK, PAO, PAOK have had plenty of those in previous seasons. Regarding Olympiakos, which team below say 6th can take points off them ? So as bad as they seem to be I still think they're favourites to win until proven otherwise. It's really to early to say. And so for AEK, PAO, PAOK it's their job to stop dropping silly points to mediocre teams and actually create a proper title race. Let's see how the first 8 or so rounds go and then we'll get a better idea of where each team is at. That's assuming of course the season actually begins this year. Also, remember that depth comes into it in the latter half of the season, and I know AEK suffered towards the later rounds and in the play-offs due to injuries and fatigue. It's not just how you play during a particular round, but across the entire season. Having said all that I will be ecstatic if someone other than EPO/Marinakis/Olympiakos won the title, just for a change and if so, I'll be sending Marinakis a big box of donuts to fill the void within him at losing the title. I just haven't decided yet on how many donuts. Any ideas ?

I gotta say, this made me laugh. :)

Back when I was a young lad, so long ago that my mind is hazy, when you wore the number 10 on your back it meant something. It was like saying "I am the most skillful, the most technical player on this team". The number 10 was the player that made the game, that split defences, the guy you had to watch out for. Pelkas is not that yet. He has glimpses, but I haven't seen him do it for an entire game. He drifts in and out of the play. If he can do the job, fine, go prove it, because right now he's just another talent. I'm not saying PAOK shouldn't keep him, I'm just saying he's not really a 100% starter yet.

Gotta say I also think it's risky to let both Tziolis and Kace go. Out of the two, I'd keep Tziolis (yes Reaper, really!!) because I think Kace is done with PAOK emotionally. He's wanted out for a while now. Having said that maybe Tziolis was told he's not a first team starter and he wants to go ? Who knows. What I've never liked about PAOK is how we too often part with players on less than ideal terms. If you don't need Tziolis, tell him from the beginning of the pre-season, not now where the transfer window is closing. Call him what you will as a player, he's been a decent club man and to me that counts for something. Anyway, let's see how it all unfolds.

We need all 3 Greek teams to win for the co-efficient points. The only team that has any excuse to not get a win is maybe PAO who have the tougher gig away from home. Olympiakos and PAOK must win, end of story.

They have both been poor. Campos has been especially quiet. Did Pereyra bed Ivic's wife ? What does he have to do to get a run ?

We should probably be playing with a number 10. Don't really need 3 in the middle with such poor opposition but I can understand why Ivic is playing it safe. Regardless, we're not playing shocking, but not well either.
