  1. 1:3 final. We are through to the final of the cup. Only by miracle or a roll of toilet paper can prevent that now.

  2. AEK is crying because they know that their team gave 150% the last months and is falling apart right now. I had read that Simoes (their best player in my opinion) as well as Araouzo and Hult got injured after the match with Atromitos, while the rest is obviously exhausted from so many games. Why do you think AEK proposed a break from all league matches? They know that they are finished. I have wondered for months now how they are even able to give at every game 150% but now comes finally the time where they will pay the price for not having a good bench to rest some players. Most of our players (besides Matos) are rested and only had one game per week. I am absolutely sure that we will win the remaining 7 matches in the league while AEK will crumble. They had an outstanding performance until the Dynamo game but they simply cannot pull that off a whole season. But we can, and we will.

  3. I smack those rolls into my head every morning while chanting PAOK ole PAOK ole ole ole. You get used to the pain.

  6. Must avoid another goal. 1-3 is still a good result. Panionios must score 3 goals in Toumba if they want to upset us.

  7. In retrospective we will be fined for this invisible object thrown by a PAOK-supporter during WC 2002:

  8. Well I am sure Olympiakos will send the evidence to the league.

  9. Yeah, he was hit in the ‘face’, and su injured, his team refused the match doctor entry into their rooms for 15 minutes.

  10. That's the thing man. If crazy s%$#! went down like fires, fans storming the pitch, players getting bashed etc. then everyone (or at least normal people) would understand why the game was abandoned. But the way it went down (or should I say Garcia went down) that was the big steaming pile of crap. Play the game, arrest the one person (ONE person !!) who threw the cash register roll. Prosecute the imbecile. Ban him from attending any future games. Instead a whole city is indicted. But hey, anything that feeds peoples preconceptions.

  11. Like you Molon Lave, I would prefer to see my club well organised, well run and playing reasonable football that improves slowly and steadily than I would like to see them win championships because they were bought or because we caused our opponents to go bankrupt or loaded the dice in our favour. Sadly, I think supporters like you and I while in the majority are also the quiet ones who get ignored.

  12. Klaous, I support Olympiakos, I don't homer my club like Attilio or ThrylosG7 does and get too defensive when the club gets criticized for doing things that are hurtful for the Greek League. Every year Olympiakos can't win championships like it's nonchalant. No, I am very outspoken of the crappy owner we got and a terrible coaching staff. They are hitting rock bottom and they need to be punished badly so the club can change for the better and start from the bottom up. I will not cry if they don't win another championship in 5 to 10 years or play in UEFA competitions for a while.

  14. I for one have said that PAOK are the ones we love to see them win the Greek Championship. They have been by far the best club in Greece. Hands down!

  15. Very true. Look on the bright side - they're performing unusually poorly this year. Hopefully that holds true for this game too.

  16. Good posts guys. So, the whole thing will be played on who will be the judges and how good PAOK's vs Oly's attorneys will proved to be. In the meantime, AEKtzides blame that PAOK is being helped by the referees this year and their high IQ coach is blaming Atromitos for wanting to deduct points from his super team and not just go and lose as Xanthi did last week. What a circus... I just hope that this will make our players angry and thirsty to simply destroy every team from now on. But seriously, with all these things, I am afraid of what will happen in a potential cup final PAOK-AEK again. I mean, thankfully it won't be a PAOK - Olympiakos final. This go worse every single year.

  17. No, he is actually right about that. Olympiakos was the one who abandoned the game. It was not postponed by the referee, which means that Olympiakos can and will be punished for not playing the match. Of course you will argue that Garcia was injured and had to leave just like Ivic did last year. However, he went straight to the changing rooms and was not checked by the doctor for at least 15 minutes while Ivic was immediately checked by the doctor. Typically, you will say that the doctor was associated with PAOK, however, he was approved by the EPO which makes this argument void. Furthermore, while Garcia had not even been checked by the doctor, Theodoridis already said into the camera that he will take the team and leave, which is evidence that Olympiakos did not want to start the match regardless if whether or not Garcia was seriously injured. Furthermore, Garcia was not listed as the official coach of Olympiakos. By UEFA regulations the list oft team officials needs to be handed in 75 minutes before the game starts and at this time the official coach of Olympiakos was Kontis. Garcia on the other hand was by UEFA regulations no team official and had no business at the pitch. Which further means that Olympiakos was able to play. Of course now you will refer to the match report which lists Garcia as your coach, but again, the UEFA is clear on that the list needs to be handed in 75 minutes before the game starts and cannot be changed after the time is up like Olympiakos did. So whether you like it or not, but Garcia was by UEFA regulations no team official in this case. This makes it more difficult for Olympiakos to explain why they could not start the match. Additionally, Olympiakos demand to deduct 3 points from PAOK is juristically speaking impossible, since the law Olympiakos is refering to only considers official team members as I will show below in red. So as I see it, and as more and more details come out of this incidence I am 99% certain that Olympiakos will be the one who will get a point deduction for not starting the game. I have to say, if Olympiakos was more clever and organized this could have ended really bad for us, but given the above information I see no danger for PAOK. Though I think that PAOK will face a monetary fine and probably 2-3 ghost games for an incidence with an individual who had no business at the pitch. Now the only question I am uncertain of is if whether or not the game will be repeated or if the game will result in a 3-0 in favor of PAOK. I hope for the latter because then the Gavroi would cry even louder and complain how much of a Halifis Savvidis is (even though Olympiakos controlled the Greek football themselves for 20 years). Not to mention that we would defeat them with their own dirty tricks which made them avoid heavy punishment for too many years. Anyway, I can only repeat myself here. It is not PAOK's fault that Olympiakos is sloppy organized and forgot to list Garcia as their coach in time. It is not PAOK's fault that Olympiakos wanted to leave without hesitation and actually left the pitch. And it will be not PAOK's fault that Olympiakos will be punished for that. What is PAOK's only fault is that this "fan" and any other "fans" like him are endangering our chance of getting the championship because of a vlakia, and for that the "fan", and every other fan who is like him need certainly to be punished too.

  18. This better not end up like 2006-07, where the league handed Olympiakos points on a silver platter and screwed AEK in getting the Greek Championship. Otherwise, I will never support that team again.

  19. Another start for him against Everton and a clean sheet in the 1-0 win. Gomes was fit again but Watford manager Gracia started Oresti again. Nice to see the fans backing him too https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/orestis-karnezis-heurelho-gomes-who-1256030
