  1. Noticed that Noe Acosta and Alex Karagiannis are some important names for Lamia this season being involved in goals and even red cards. Good to see that, once a boy loaned in Aris, Danilo Pereira developed well and plays for Porto, even a starter lately, I think, in most of the matches.

  2. Should be more teams from Europe there...now we get to watch Saudis, iran,Tunisia, Morroco and Panama a horrible side. This is no where near the quality of watching the Euros when it was a 16 team format.

  3. Already 5,000 tickets sold online. Add the 11,396 diarkias. As of tomorrow tickets are available at the ticket counters at the stadium. Hope for a sold out and a great atmosphere next Sunday!

  4. He's decently fast, can dribble, *VERY* aggressive. Shooting could use some work, though as you said his long shots are good (he's deceptively strong). Boxou is correct in that he is MUCH better than Maniatis and Tziolis, though it should be noted that he's a #8 and not a #6.

  5. The national team should not be an academy. That should be done at the local levels. You first get a shot with your team then the national team calls you up, not the other way around. Some of the guys mentioned above have potential but we need to be realistic. Having said that, I still think the young guys deserve more of a shot than someone than Vellios or Maniatis.

  6. Yes. I knew that I had seen that goal somewhere on the CL highlights. Krima for Nikos Psychogios and Ilias Stavropoulos and with more less ruined careers due to injuries and whatever else...both with no clubs these days. Stavropoulos only 22. Valentin Roberge is a regular starter for Apollon Limassol. also played for Sunderland not long ago and had some matches even there. I liked the guy really. Anyone remembering Ian Daly? A thin Irish attacker now plays in his homeland or UK for who knows what club in what division according to transfermarkt.

  7. i don't care if he's talented. btw here's a fact. saudi arabia is considered as the worst world cup team, along with panama. and their players are most if not all, domestically based. that sums it up. and no he shouldn't be around in a team that aims to be in europe's top-20. nowhere around. id rather play with no wingers than busts like him and gianniotas who have a below average pro career.

  8. I am pretty sure that Danilo has some caps with the national portuguese team. Interesting player. He has played in all 5 champions league matches of Porto and scored a goal against Leipzig.

  9. finally someone sane. people here want samaris to be excluded from the squad. although their alternatives all worse than him.

  10. I personally think Samaris is our best defensive midfielder. He has been out of form lately but is still our best. Tachtsidis is more inconsistent.

  11. What's going on with Fetfatzidis obsession? You people seem like still living in 2011. He is NOT a talent anymore. He's 27. And for the past 2 years he's been playing in Saudi Arabia. That says a lot. End of discussion.
